Gold pours over, bathes these calloused hands, a milky sun breaks over the hills.

We always struggled with definition:  how to catch the falling stars when we don't know where our hands begin, the horizon in our arms.

So don't bury me, just give me to the sky. All that i can do is live as i have always done, and i, i will find a way to breach the chasm of tonight for every new tomorrow that splinters up into our bloodshot eyes.

Suffering these cuts, the cavities upon memory, echoes upon the gaping hollows perforating history. And how can we return to a home so long since lost?

Some say that given time, the deepest stars will fade.
Some say that given time, even scars will burn themselves out.
