‘You’ve Changed’ is the first single from the new album by Danny Gruff, and it’s due for release on 8th November. This is the first album he’s recorded with his band ‘The Peacemakers’. 

Danny Gruff is a Wrexham born singer songwriter based in Manchester. Since the release of his self titled debut album in 2017, Danny has racked up over a million streams on Spotify, a few sold out UK tours and a few high profile support slots including the likes of Bowling for Soup, McFly, James Bourne (Busted) and Frank Turner. 
 
At the end of 2023, Danny got the band in a practise room to rehearse for a one off show in the Castle in Manchester. The gig sold out months in advance and the plan was to play songs from Danny’s career up until that point. However, the band started writing together in the lead up to the gig, as a way to distract themselves. When the gig was done, the momentum was still there with the band so they booked some studio time for later in the year. 

In September 2024, the band entered The Motor Museum in Liverpool (Arctic Monkeys, 1975, Bring Me The Horizon, The Zutons) to start recording their self produced album, ‘The Circus is In Town’. 
They finished tracking the vocals for the album in Airtight Studios, Manchester (Badly Drawn Boys, The Coureeners, Robert Plant). 

Collectively, the band took influence for this album from Bruce Springsteen, Bleachers, The Faces, War on Drugs and Stereophonics. The album’s theme is based around moving out of your hometown, and returning years later and all the growing up that happens in that time.

BIOG:

Kid Machine is a producer and performer based in Manchester, UK. The project was born in 2007, with experiments in electro, disco, and space influenced music. In 2009 his debut EP Velours 77 (digital and limited CD) was released by Manchester label Sounds of the Suburbs Records.

In recent years there have been releases with the likes of the mighty Viewlexx of Holland, and England’s Flight Recorder and Red Laser Records. He’s also released tracks as part of compilations with 030303 Records and Fundamental Records.

This exposure to his music has enabled him take his live sets across Europe in the past few years where he’s rocked his ‘classics’ and tested out his ever-growing unreleased works.
In the studio and on stage it’s a blend of software and hardware, the old and the new. The music takes heavy inspiration from underground synth music such as italo disco, house, electro, new beat and wave. Kid Machine’s focus is firmly on the future, and moving things forward, using that inspiration in interesting new ways.

His full debut album was released by Cyber Dance in 2014. From his Live Set, you can expect: Epic, space, darkness, emotion, slow-motion, heavy, chugging, military.

After much success with his previous moniker, Stupid Fresh, producer Chris Elliot started his his solo project "Nom De Strip" in 2009. Chris has since gone on to release many underground hits, and more recently has put out two acclaimed EP's - Clouds EP Vol 1 and Vol 2 - as well as an official remix of Tommy Trash’s ‘Monkey See Monkey Do’. All these tracks finding their natural home on deadmau5's highly successful mau5trap label imprint.

Nom has been hailed as one to watch by industry heavyweights such as deadmau5, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Wolfgang Gartner, Tommy Trash, Dada Life and Dirty South. The producer was greeted with massive support from deadmau5 in 2012, leading to a string of remixes under the mau5trap label. Recent key tracks include ‘The Nothing’, 'Swagnum P.I.', and a remix of mau5's ‘Channel 42', both tracks having a meteoric impact online.

In 2013, he signed an exclusive deal with Chris Lake’s Rising Music label. With his forthcoming and eagerly anticipated collaboration with Hatiras called “Nippleodeon” as well as collabs with Chris Lake, TJR, and Nezzo to name a few, Nom De Strip is no doubt one to watch.
