Rock, Soul, Funk, Country and Blues. Country? Well Country Rock I suppose. More like Kenny Wayne Shepard, Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers and Eagles country.
Note about the cover: This was a painting my Mom painted a long time ago and I never knew existed. Flash forward a few of decades and long after she past away. We recently discovered this painting at my brothers house and immediately realize it's almost an exact picture of the area where we recently moved to (a long way away from where my Mom lived) and the couple on the bridge looks like my wife and I. It sounds crazy but I believe she had painted a picture of the future. There was nothing in the area where she lived that looked anything like this painting. There were actually 2 other painting in the same collection that had exact scenes of the areas where we now live. Very strange!

Chance encounter with former High School girlfriend proves not to be as memorable as he would hope. American Graffiti put to music, 60's High School romance, Summer Love music. Think "Grease" "Summer Lovin" or Doobie Brothers "What A Fool Believes".

Senior Year

Offbeat Mysterious Deep Dark and strangely sentimental track with shades of The Beatles and The Moody Blues influences. Orchestral textures with vocals and harmony. Biblical in nature but not religious. Lyrically uplifting and soulful.
The word Ebenezer means “stone of help.” The reference comes from 1 Samuel 7. After defeating the Philistines, Samuel raises his Ebenezer, declaring that on this spot God defeated the enemy.

I love The Everly Brothers! The sound of Phil and Don 2 part harmonizing is timeless.  They were one of my biggest influences on music growing up and I still love the sound. It was like Elvis times 2. And they could play! Love that feel you could tell The Everly Brothers felt the music. AM Radio Rock and Roll with that great twang. County, Rockabilly, Classic 60's pop sound.

That's Not How I Remember It

Tex Mex South Of The Border Cantina Outlaw Cowboy Music. Roy Rogers meets Roy Orbison. Just add some Cervazas and douse on some Cholula and dig in! Mid Century Country Western style.

Lonely Town

Fun, straight ahead rocking blues with chugging guitars and pushy beat. "Mamacita" is a Spanish term for "Little Mother" or "Little Lady". Used as a term of endearment or affection. I was born and raised in Miami where sometimes Spanish and English get mixed up and what you get is "Mamacita". I hope it translates with the greatest respect and compliment and I like it cause it goes with "Muy Bonita".

I'm sure you've seen those medical ads for some new product but the side effects seem much worse than your problem. That's what got me to thinking. This is a Rocking little bluesy number with a little satire. I hope it makes you laugh.

Funky Blues Cowboy Song with a funny story a line dancing beat. Think Blazing Saddles meets Roy Rogers. Kick out your cowboy boots and do some flatfoot and buck dancing. Better than "Achy Breaky Heart"

Vocal and acoustic guitar. Porch picking guitar song with some gospel style mixed in that tells a story about growing up in a small town.

Strutting swaggering boot kicking romantic swamp stomp with Jerry Reed style chicken picking guitar. I'm really not the bragging type but when it comes to my girl, I have to brag.

Slow seductive blues groove that feels like a still foggy night that has an anticipation of danger. Low speaking vocals that build and become more stronger and more intense. Guitar, Bass, piano and Hammond organ, with horn kicks.

Country Blues Rock Gospel Crossover. Elvis in leather before the high collar sequin suits, gold sunglasses and martial arts moves  

A Hard Road

A little trip down nostalgic highway, US1 to be specific to the time when Drive In Theaters were the place to be on the weekend. Down south of Miami on US1 there use to be a Drive In Theater called "The Dixie Drive In". The picture is the actual drive in which was around SW 152nd Street and South Dixie Hwy. (US1 use to be called South Dixie Hwy). The Dixie Drive In Theater is not there any longer but I have a lot of great memories of nights at the Dixie Drive In. Hope you enjoy the look back to a simpler time.

Uplifting Inspirational Positive Rock Song for hero, Tom Petty. Put this song on when somebody pisses you off. It will make you feel better. It works for me.
When I did the vocal track on this song I was just getting over a head cold. It's a voice I don't normally have so I had to make sure I finished the vocal before my voice changed back. Only problem is now I can't sing like this! Maybe that's a good thing.
