Lovely piece.  I don't like the broad designation "ambient" because it implies directionless atmosperics and/or melodic noodling. This piece, for example, is calm and thoughtful but it definitely has direction and shape.  In any case, a beautiful track.

Another track inspired by Asimov's Foundation trilogy. 
Arcadia: 14 years old, infuriatingly single-minded, impulsive and a stowaway. Cool character.
The artwork is from Pinterest; unfortunately, I couldn't find a credit.
I played the lead guitar parts on a PRS Santana Custom. The heavier backing is a Fender Jazz Bass through a modern amp.

This song has trusty Greg Willis on Sax , really works ! On the 8th of April is a Country song by myself and Tony Harris , and another by us on the 22nd . In between those 2 tracks me and Charlotte have a great song out on the 15th , and we're working on a belter , so watch this space ! After nearly losing one of my new kittens, Scout, to the deadly parasite Toxoplasma gondii (Toxoplasmosis), which caused some horrifying neurological symptoms, including body twitches, I decided to express my feelings about the experience in song using my new DAW. The song is upbeat because she recovered, and is now parasite free!

I'm primarily a guitar player but I'll try to make music with anything you throw at me. When left to my own devices I enjoy recording minimalist ambient pieces and textural soundscapes. My principal sound source for these efforts is manipulated guitar but I often include electronics and organic sources. I enjoy working on collaborations with other musicians.
