Matt, Archipelago- Bob Dylan just met the Lumineers ( sorry but I love both bands) in a kind of crazy cool way.  I dig the lyrics and the way they bounce around on the tempo and instrument choice.  At a certain point I was drawn away to an adventure in a movie script of some simple folks living on an island.  Good stuff!

Thank you, really enjoyed it. You have a knack for weaving images into a melodic story.

rippled out in the twilight of a silver stream the dark played with the light and they intermingled in their alchemy  12 and from the two there were many or so it was told from their cosmology from the two came the fire, water earth, wood and metal technologies and even these were not set apart and nothing in the world was where it did not belong they depended on each other like a mother and the nursing of her young  Refrain 4: So the two were together twisted in twine a web with no weaver an order without design the circuits were not severed from island to island in the Archipelago

Orland Bishop - Part 3 (E31)

Come gather round and i'll tell you a tale
of a people who inhabited the islands near
Legend says if you turn your ears to the ocean still their voices you can hear
And before I begin, well the past, present,
or future don't think of in regards to what is said Think of a time and a place where everywhere is here and everyday today
So the moon sent out a message to the tides and the tides began to rise
boats were bound with incantations 
before the shaman stepped aside
And the stars held their last council
as the glimmer on the galley it would fade
an infant still counting sheep between 
her mum and dad behind the window shades
All the children in the morning you would 
see them on the coast collecting shells
Looking away to the windward wishing to break their fast to the striking of the bell
And the skipper called for provisions
as the women wondered who would set to sea The young men read the water and in the sand drew where the shoals of fish would be And the lines spiraled out
like the structure of a shell There was dancing to the universal drums and crystal bells The whole world to them was alive in the Archipelago
And as the sun continued climbing high
a family hung their seaweed out to dry
Half the men sailed off in their fishing boats the others bid farewell and stayed behind Though the women worked in the garden there were some that set to sea with the fishermen And their straw hats for their amber skin making dappled shade were given unto them
Utensils hooks and flutes and bowls 
from the bones and the driftwood they were made And every detail carved with care and gratitude for the uses that they gave The sacred circles drawn and for the
cross quarters the decorations saved
While a little girl had wandered off
to visit her ancestors grave
And the mountain range over yonder 
from this little girl were asked of their name And though the elders said they knew them long ago the child knew the names had changed For the mountains said to her that they were no longer who they used to be A hundred million years we've changed in a way the eyes of humans cannot see
Every word whispered to the mountains
was like a prayer Every movement she made  with ceremonial care
And every place was a shrine
in the Archipelago
Woven baskets filled with every single color that the dream of earth could dream
The berries and the bark from the forest
and the cotton to be cleaned
The patterns on their garments 
like the dewdrop on the leaf of everywhen
Told the story that created their surroundings which in turn created them
The elders tended to the fire like they tended to the visions of the youth
For some needed kindling and questions
to the answers they thought they once knew And the medicines were brought to them from the forest and to the forest they gave thanks There were those that cheered there were those that cried
upon seeing the men and women newly made
And the psychonauts would commune with the other forms of life in the galaxy
and together they'd transmit each other
healing resonant frequencies
And their temples like antennas 
and their hearts a torus field would generate And attune to their acoustic field
a free agent become and levitate
Moving mountains with the faith 
of a single grain Yet the camas of the field
would neither reap or sow but are as they remain The milky way to them was like and island in an archipelago so there were fractals, there were holons,
beginnings, there were fragments 
there were wholes There were ends but there were constants there was ancient news and novelties of old And the fire flickered images and the vibrations their eyesight it did change and the variations in their neural patterns gave the dusk a misty haze the warping wounds were transfigured as the sun layed its weary head to rest the spirits came and were serenaded by the gravity of the earth's breath And the melody like an echo  rippled out in the twilight of a silver streamthe dark played with the light
and they intermingled in their alchemy
