I've been playing guitar and singing (badly) for many years. Occasionally recording the more cohesive things that come out. Also dabble with keys and bass playing (like a guitar, but easier) when the need arises. Huge fan of blues and folk music, but have very eclectic tastes. Record in a bedroom studio, which I am adding to whenever I can.

EevilTwynne has been composing and producing an eclectic mix of electronic music out of the Steel City of Sheffield for a number of years. With a huge passion for and interest in music, his influences range from Bonobo to Howlin Wolf. Hints of these artists often find their way into EevilTwynne's compositions, however live instrumentation (he plays guitar, synths, bass and provides vocals) is key in expressing himself with the music. The songs are often dark in tone, but with glimpses of warmth, light and energy that provide a counterpoint to the subject matter. A drum machine often provides an anchor for the music, but dreamy, hypnotic chords and synth lines are never far away. Artists such as Jon Hopkins, Olafur Arnalds, Bonobo and FourTet are inspirations for these songs.

EevilTwynne's music has garnered support from BBC Introducing with plays from Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 (FTR) and Christian Carlisle at BBC Introducing Sheffield (Black Dog, Tenba), and has been featured on blogs such as Fresh on the Net (Left In) and Indie Shuffle (Within & Without).
