A meteor shower is a celestial event in which a number of meteors are observed to radiate, or originate, from one point in the night sky. These meteors are caused by streams of cosmic debris called meteoroids entering Earth's atmosphere at extremely high speeds on parallel trajectories. Most meteors are smaller than a grain of sand, so almost all of them disintegrate and never hit the Earth's surface. Very intense or unusual meteor showers are known as meteor outbursts and meteor storms, which produce at least 1,000 meteors an hour.

The ancient metropolis of Istanbul probably derives its name from the Greek 'Stin Polis' ('in the city')(according to Sean Lusk's excellent book 'The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesly)having previously been Constantinople the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
This incredible city spans the continents of Europe and Asia and reflects aspects of both in its culture and people.

The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it. It formed 4.6 billion years ago from the gravitational collapse of a giant interstellar molecular cloud.  The four inner system planets—Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars—are terrestrial planets, being composed primarily of rock and metal. The four giant planets of the outer system are substantially larger and more massive than the terrestrials. The two largest, Jupiter and Saturn, are gas giants, being composed mainly of hydrogen and helium; the next two, Uranus and Neptune, are ice giants, being composed mostly of volatile substances.  The orbits of the planets are ellipses with the Sun at one focus, though all except Mercury are very nearly circular. The orbits of the planets are all more or less in the same plane, called the ecliptic and defined by the plane of the Earth's orbit.  The orbits of the planets, based on Earth's 1 year orbit, are as follows: Mercury .24 years, Venus .61, Earth 1.00, Mars 1.88, Jupiter 11.86, Saturn 29.46, Uranus 84.01, Neptune 164.80, Pluto 248.80.  They all orbit in the same direction, counter-clockwise looking down from above the Sun’s north pole; all but Venus, Uranus and Pluto also rotate in that same sense.

Asteroids are rocky objects revolving around the sun that are too small to be called planets. They are also known as planetoids or minor planets. There are millions of asteroids, ranging in size from hundreds of miles to several feet across.  Of the roughly one million known asteroids the greatest number are located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter in the main asteroid belt.  
An Earth-crossing asteroid is an  asteroid whose path around the Sun crosses Earth’s orbit; these asteroids cross Earth’s orbit on an almost continuous basis. Astronomers have mounted searches for objects that closely approach Earth, partly to determine whether they may collide with the planet, since early detection might make it possible to avert a catastrophe. It is currently estimated that there are about 1,000 Earth-crossing asteroids larger than 1 km (0.6 mile). Asteroids in inner solar system planet-crossing orbits move back and forth among the various kinds of such orbits before eventually colliding with a planet or being ejected from the solar system. Impacts of 1-km-size asteroids are believed to occur a few times every million years. Such a collision would deliver the explosive force of several hydrogen bombs, possibly resulting in global climate disturbances or huge tidal waves. The impact of an object about 10 km (6 miles) in diameter is thought to have caused a massive extinction of species, including the dinosaurs, at the end of the Cretaceous Period (66 million years ago).

HELLO MY FRIENDS, AS YOU CAN READ BY THE TITLE OF THIS TRACK, IT HAS A GOAL OF TAKING YOU SOMEWHERE, WHERE EXACTLY THAT LOCATION MAY RESIDE IS UP TO YOU AND THE EXPERIENCE YOUR MIND CHOOSES TO HAVE WHILE LISTENING.  ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT OR LISTEN TO IT, IT HAS MEANING TO ME SO IN THAT REGARD IT IS IMPORTANT.  I HAVE HONESTLY NOT BEEN VERY INSPIRED AT ALL TO MAKE MUSIC OVER THE LAST COUPLE MONTHS FOR VARIOUS REASONS UNTIL I PUT THIS TOGETHER.  MY BEST FRIENDS FATHER PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY AND IT WAS A HARD BLOW TO EVERYONE.  MUSIC OFTEN HELPS ME SORT OUT MY FEELINGS SO THERES THAT...ENJOY...BIG LOVE TO ALL, ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!! Bruce Klepper is a Colorado based composer with thousands of listeners worldwide. Klepper studied music composition in the 1970's and received a degree in music composition and theory.  After writing music for many years and starting a tech company based in Colorado, Klepper retired in 2014 from business so he could devote myself to his true passion, composing music. Klepper's music premiered in Carnegie Hall, September 2022.  Klepper writes music in a number of different styles, including contemporary classical music, jazz, soundscapes using field recordings, ambient music, and ballet music.  Klepper has been composing music for Danse Etoile Ballet (www.danseetoile.org) since 2016. Klepper has been collaborating with Parlando School of Musical Arts (www.parlando.org) faculty Britta De Groot and Sergei Govorov for over a year now, composing and arranging new music for the dynamic piano and saxophone duo to premier around the United States. Klepper's music can be heard on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and SoundCloud.
