Boolaboom are a 20 piece band based in Cork and comprising musicians from all over the globe including Brazil, Chile, USA, UK, New Zealand, France, and Ireland under the direction of band leader and producer Darragh O’Connor.

Combining original house music with cover versions of classic house tracks they have become a viral hit with admirers including Kerri Chandler whose Atmoshere/ In My System they have covered and Kerri was so blown away he asked them to support him.

Their latest release is Summerhouse which fuses jazz touches with Samba to create an incredibly vibrant slice of live house. Remixed by one of the hottest producers on the scene right now Art of Tones this one is a summer anthem in the making which perfectly showcases Boolabooms love of South American percussion and energetic horns.

Welcome back to Homemade House Series, where we are all about sharing the love for House music and it's people who make and play it for your enjoyment or inspiration. 

This week we have none other than Matthew Brian up in the mix. 

Matthew Brian gets around. His love for music can be traced back to time well spent in Tennessee, Atlanta, Kansas City, and now San Diego.
Spending years of his life working in record stores, running record labels, organizing and promoting events he was able to surround himself in the music as well as the ins and outs of the industry.
With over 20 years of Dj experience, Matt has played all over the country with the top names in underground house like Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, Mark Farina, Luke Solomon, and Dj Sneak to name a few. His weekly event, House Music Fridays is a staple in the house community and features top notch artists from all over the world.
As a producer he's established himself on labels like Sampled Recordings Detroit, Kolour Recordings, Late Night Jackin, Jump Recordings, 1200 TRAXX, & Great Lakes Audio. Most recently Matthew has teamed up with LA veteran Ricky Doubles as the production duo Matt N Ricky and they have a slew of projects produced in Matthew's SD studio soon to be released on a number of labels like Blackcherry Recordings, and Undaground Therapy Muzik.
