Medha [PVC | Leipzig, Germany]

Medha's passion for technoid music is characterised by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig club scene, especially the Institut für Zukunft, she developed her own way to express her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds, creating an endless drive that always aims to make the listener dance. She has been an integral part of the PVC collective for over two years and organises events herself.

T-Dok  - Roger Garcia was born in Barcelona on 14 November 1977. After trying many styles, it was the techno sound that resonated, and in 2014 he started his label Monark. 
His sounds are influenced by Detroit and German styles as well as the Birmingham sound from the late 90s. The use of large and repetitive bass lines offer an underground sensation on the dance floor. Kiara is a Leipzig-based DJ and founding member of the Nebula collective. Together with Nebula she organizes illegal raves and club events such as at Institut für Zukunft, Distillery or Elipamanoke and is thus contributing to the techno scene in Leipzig. She has always had a passion for many different music genres. Coming from a hardcore, punk and indie background and playing classical guitar since her early childhood she discovered her love for techno in her early twenties. Her style can be described as trippy, spherical yet straightforward with a consistent hypnotic flow. In her track search she makes sure to choose tracks that have a deep and drifting atmosphere. Working at Safer Clubbing AG at the club Institut für Zukunft she is raising awareness and educates club-goers to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and safe to create a free, self-determined and safe place for everyone to party.
The mix was recorded at a pre-opening clubnight at institut für zukunft.

The twenty-fourth of our podcast series.
Artist: IMPREA

Imprea is a french Dj-producer based in Brussels.  His music is inspired by the artistic movement called Impressionism, and always tries to catch the listener to bring him in an abstract world. Lover of hypnotic sounds, his 3rd ep Lunar architect (Aarden Records) is a tale dedicated to the space, with the remixes of Floating Machine and Petit Astronaute.

Working as percussionist in different symphonic orchestras (National Orchestra of Belgium, Berlin Metropolitan Orchestra...), he always has been fascinated about musical atmospheres, rhythms, colors of sounds. Also a member of the « Delirium Editions : organisation for tomorrow's art », he mixes his percussionist' skills and his knowledge of electro-acoustic music to work on new forms of arts and performances.

His musical identity has ever been evolving, from a raw industrial to today's deep and hypnotic sound.
