A saudade de estar conectado a uma pista me trouxe essa lembrança em forma de set, um começo com o Canto de Proteção das Clarianas indo para o nosso amado Psy, selecionei o que eu venho escutando nesse último ano junto com algumas músicas que já toquei na pista. Me imaginei  tocando numa BoiKOT com o dia amanhecendo, aquela transição da noite  para o dia que da gosto de tocar, os graves batendo e a pista pegando fogo. 
Esse Set vem com uma Arte de uma amiga e artista incrível, Mirela Rodrigues ( Instagram : mirelarodriguescostap) que fez essa pintura  a mão com acrílico e lápis de cor, ela se inspirou no nome do set e na referência da  Danse Macabre, um movimento artístico que apareceu na idade média por conta da peste negra, sobre a universalidade da morte, que expressa a ideia de que não importa o estatuto de uma pessoa em vida, a dança da morte une a todos.

Protonica is back to talk with us in this episode of the Iboga series, having just finished their newest full-length album Symmetry, out on May 31 on Iboga Records.

PROTONICA are Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze from Berlin (Germany). With Piet’s intuition for harmonies as a skilled pianist and certified sound designer Ralf’s feeling for propulsive grooves, Protonica deliver you their very own positive pulsing sound – a blend of psychedelic and progressive trance. The “Refresh / Northern Storm EP” from 2010 was certainly an important milestone and the breakthrough for the duo. In 2012 Protonica releases the second album “Form Follows Function” another masterpiece after their debut album “Search” from 2007.
With their energetic live sets Protonica have already contributed to making events a sucess all over the world, amongst others Universo Paralello (Brazil), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Fusion Festival (Germany), Ilo Festival (Mexico), Groove Attack (Israel) and Boom Festival (Portugal).

Ralf and Piet share extensive experience in DJing for more than a decade, too. Together they have also formed the progressive house/techno side project KAEMPFER & DIETZE.
