Movement Recordings opens its spring season by welcoming Brazilian duo RIKO & GUGGA back to the label with their first full release, Berserker, alongside a remix from label boss Tash.

Known for fusing the retro sound of the 80s with the pulsating energy of modern electronic music, RIKO & GUGGA have carved out a distinctive lane, blending Indie, Techno, and House into productions that resonate globally. With releases on Hollystone Records, Running Clouds, Sprout, and Perspectives Digital, the São Paulo based artists made their Movement debut in 2024 with a standout remix of Tash’s Vital Energy. Now stepping into the spotlight with their own material, the duo delivers Berserker, a powerful statement of their evolving sound.

The original mix of ""Berserker"" is a muscular peak time weapon, where rolling basslines and driving grooves set the foundation. Tense atmospheres, hypnotic stabs, and processed vocals converge into a heady narrative, leading into a break of soaring emotion before launching back into a thunderous finale. Energetic yet refined, it captures the duo’s flair for retro futuristic design and festival sized dynamics.

Taking the reins for the lone interpretation is Tash, one of Greece’s most established names in electronic music and the creative force behind Movement Recordings. A Thessaloniki based DJ and artist, Tash has built a legacy through releases on Mango Alley, FSOE UV/UV Noir, Harabe, and Plattenbank, while remaining a constant presence on international stages from Greece to India. On his remix of ""Berserker"", Tash dials into the track’s tougher framework, emphasizing heavy low end drive and intricate percussion, while reshaping its melodic core into a tense, evolving journey. The result is a timeless version equally suited for dark rooms or open air settings.

With RIKO & GUGGA’s explosive original and Tash’s powerful rework, Berserker makes for a high impact addition to Movement’s 2025 catalog, bridging Brazilian energy with Greek mastery for a release destined to light up global dancefloors.
