Brand spanking label Outright Records certainly know how to make a splash alright. For their first release they have opted for a banger-heavy VA and in the process, they have collected together a rather tasty selection of artists. Little is known about the imprint other than that they know a good groove when they hear one we are sure you will agree after you have a listen.

For the first VA, Outright Records managed to line up four bomb tracks from four artists that are currently knocking it out of the park. It was tough to choose between Michael James, DJOKO, Tommy Vicari Jnr, and Enzo Leep but in the end, we opted for the first track on the release. Where better to start than at the beginning. Renowned German DJ and producer ​Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album ​Space Diver,​ out​ 24th January​ via ​Ultra Music​.
SpaceDiveri​sanemotionally-charged,ten-trackjourney,with​Brejchamasterfully guiding the listener through an array of terrain. No fewer than three tracks from the LP have already been released as singles: there’s the hypnotic, recently released
   
‘Lieblingsmensch’​, trance-inflicted ​‘Never Look Back’ and melodic techno roller ‘Gravity’​, which features the vocals of Berlin-based singer-songwriter ​Laura Korinth​. Things are then closed out with ​‘To The Moon And Back’​, an expertly-crafted slice of what Brejcha refers to as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​, with the album finding that sweet spot between energetic club cuts and relaxed home listening.
Having completed a North American tour and played at a slew of Ibiza parties across 2019, ​Brejcha shows no signs of taking his foot off the gas in 2020, with festival slots at ​OFFSonar​, ​Exit Festival​ and ​Docklands​ all lined up for the next few months.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of ​‘Monster’ and ​‘Yellow Kitchen’ back in 2006, ​Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ​‘High-Tech Minimal’​. In 2018 he dropped a track on the ​Best Of Cloning Sound ​compilation to mark the tenth anniversary of the imprint.
