Couronne de Merde is a french musician, violin player and weird screamer. His music explores existential torment and doubt through brutal and emotional discharges, industrial sounds or sacred soundscapes, trying to create a personal path to the unlimited expression of introspection. 

Somehow influenced by Dominick Fernow’s universe, Couronne de Merde  is a gentle violence that abandons itself in a certain melancholy, like a grey mirage, mirroring an inner pain and anger.

"Many roads lead to suffering, but all of them lead to you" is dedicated to and inspired by the numerous victims of the conflicts which have swept through the middle east and the occupied Palestinian territories for decades. 

As usual with this type of politically-oriented release, all the money obtained will be reversed to an association linked with the thematic of the project. This time, all the funds will be transferred to Al Kamandjâti :

"Al Kamandjâti exists to teach music to Palestinian children, especially those in marginalized areas and to make music accessible to the entire Palestinian community, strengthening their appreciation of Palestinian identity, as well as of other Arab and international cultures."

This episode I had on (if you ask me) one of the best of the best newcoming artists of 2022 at the container: The Spy. This year his album Time To Strike landed on Elena Colombi's infamous Osàre! Editions imprint and it's really something special. One of my absolute favs of this year consisting of crunchy, wavey electro rhythms accompanied by synths that touch the soul. Apart from that, his releases span across labels like Brokntoys, Discos Atónicos and Everyone On Acid, which are all very much worth giving a good listen.

More than honoured to have had my big red Cruel Machine companion over on the show for a b2b session.

J. Mono twists our sense of time again, coming up with the third installment of his ‘Redate’ series on Dalmata Daniel: an elegant selection of uncut tracks, roaming in the fields of electro, acid, IDM and EBM. Redate III in its digital format presents tracks that were written and recorded between 2014 and 2015. As the cassette version, it includes not only Redate III (as side A), but a collection of J. Mono’s various other tracks created between 2017 and 2021, that appeared beforehand on various compilation albums (as side B). In other words, with this fresh new tape you’re all set with 8 years of J. Mono experience.
