Gruntsplatter solidified in 1994 after a year or so of experimenting. I've always sought to weave together elements that span the spectrum of dark experimental music to create a soundtrack for the concepts that inspire me. Disregarding the bramble of sub-genre feels like the best way to evoke my intentions. The ideas are the impetus for each release, they allow me to find a focus and score a narrative. However, I'm not dictating. What the listening experience produces is up to the individual. I prefer people to stumble on something of their own.

After a break from music for a number of years I was reinvigorated in 2016 by discovering modular. It's been cathartic and fascinating to start again. I hadn't played a show in well over a decade, so playing this set was a puzzle I'm glad to have cracked.

My other projects include The Corvidae Cabal, and collaborations with a number of fine folks over the course of doing all this. I've also run Crionic Mind Records off and on since 1995.

Kareem, Founder of Zhark Recordings Berlin, has been presenting heavy armoured track material since the year 1996 challenging the auditory, pushing them deep into the abyss.   His definition of the Zharkesthetic lies in conveying a claustrophobic state: an atmosphere of threatening sound architecture constantly challenging the innocuous conventions of the electronic medium(s).

Resident DJ of Replicant Events and Forensics and co-founder of Tech Noire, 24sexb has always felt the need to darken some of his ideas. He has been involved in the goth and punk scene for nearly 20 years. It was while moving to Berlin that he discovered techno, noise, and industrial. After 10 years in Berlin, where he continued his studies in astrophysics, which inspired his artist name, the name of a planet in the Sextant constellation. It is this universe that drives him to take his audience on an excursion into the meanders of dark and black reverie. His sets explore the disturbing and unsettling melodies of gothic and industrial music.

24sexb has rocked the dancefloors of La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Station - Gare des Mines, Rex Club, KitKat Club in Berlin, and the Gothic Pogo Festival and Schlagstrom Festival in Germany.

Originally majored menswear at an arts university. After graduating, moved to Japan, where he began to seriously pursue photography. Over time, his artistic journey evolved, leading him to explore music, making him a multi-disciplinary artist today. Inyoung Son’s music bears a strong resemblance to his photography. Sound blends industrial with ritualistic and hypnotic elements, creating a smooth yet dark and rough flow. Ultimately, his music serves as a personal language for communicating with the world, offering a new form of dialogue through sound.
