Susan Subtract of High-Functioning Flesh and Physical Wash.
In per DJ sets, Susan explores old-school 80s industrial and underground influences with mechanical body beats that stimulate bodies into requisite movement. Per sets incorporate new darkwave, techno body music and industrial rawness, forming a dark and danceable synthesis of old-school meets new.

In per live project Physical Wash, Susan melds the rigid body beat and vocal snarl of HFF with grinding industrial melodies and a brooding atmosphere. Originally conceived in 2017 as an electro side project to compliment per songwriting in HFF, Physical Wash gradually became per main focus.

The origins of Envelope Muse can be traced back to the early 2000s in the coastal deep south of Western Australia. A profound connection to dark 
ambient, harshnoise, industrial, soundtrack and film composition inspired early experimentation with a 4 track recorder, a guitar, a mic and effects pedals, and from those humble beginnings the work of Envelope Muse 
evolved into the dark ambient industrial soundtracks the artist produces today. These heavily textured and moving visions are made possible through the integration of field recordings, modified equipment, film/audio
 samples, voice, synths, guitar and bass. Dialogue runs as a theme and the music is carefully constructed for film and live performance. 
Envelope Muse soundtracks evoke feelings of solitude, melancholy, 
confinement and isolation through their foreboding, ominous and 
discordant overtones. Envelope Muse: Dystopian sound for a dystopian world.

Divine Swelling shapes two different approaches to a style that can have different interpretations, just like the name itself with which it is usually qualified, as it can be perfectly defined according to the sonic development used by each author. In this album we can differentiate how a style such as industrial death goes beyond the tiny line that exists between this subgenre and power electronics, however, most of the times both sounds and styles overlap to create a common environment.

This album does not pretend to give a musical lesson for any user to appreciate both differences in style, it only shows the ability of two producers to generate an abysmal sound, based on extreme drones, hellish vocals, beleaguered rhythms and harsh and distorted sound designs.

This alliance is formed by the Catalan producer Noir Noir, who signs the six tracks of side A, in which he promotes different forms associated with power electronics and abrasive industrial, with dense landscapes, terrifying vocals, electrifying textures and esoteric rhythms. Vesakh is in charge of the four tracks on side B, a project created from anonymity and which exhibits in this album a great creative potential to transform any sound source into a plea based on noise and its corrosive nature.

Los Angeles based Venaeform Records debuts their first release initiated by the label’s creator Spheric with his project Ixïan. Ixïan—Unlike Us EP delivers 7 original tracks (incl.1 digital bonus track available online) and a remix by @nordstaat . The Unlike Us EP consists of unique & diverse tracks of alternative forms of techno and ebm. Each of the tracks have their own aura of timbres from the ritualistic chants and ominous atmospheres of “Mahdi” to the track “Demon to Some” with its ebm embedded elements leading into a haunting & rhythmic passage into an underworld. “Unlike Us” track conveys the sense of one observing a possession of an unknown lifeform while the Nordstaat remix of “Mahdi” creates a dark hypnotic ebm journey. For those purchasing the vinyl ep it also includes all digital downloads and a special bonus digital track.
