The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere "Bakunin Commando - XI (Nigh/T\mare Remix)". This eerie work of dark electronics comes off the new EP from Bakunin Commando, one of the different facets of Violet Poison. The Veleno Viola label boss heads towards a more experimental direction, shipwrecking to more unknown and remote places, presenting a more conceptual ep with minimalistic proto-industrial/ebm tracks, inspired by the latest DVA Clock, mixing cyberpunk elements with delayed vocals and furious sequences. The 80's punk intuition and its characteristic ramblings undoubtedly give this album a particular character. Also fetishism, sexual exploration and domination are clearly a big inspiration.

setokaib started his musical journey a decade ago. Influenced by darkwave, emotional electronic music and punk DIY ethos, his style evolved naturally, infusing his vocals into dark-themed productions. He relocated few times to Montreal, east + north London warehouses, Berlin and finally to Paris which allowed him to connect with people from the underground scene all around the world and build his projects. Wherever he has gone, setokaib has left his musical stamp on the dancefloor through dj-sets and, more recently live performances.

In 2020, he co-founded the label "Silent Ground" for an official launch in 2023 to share his mysterious universe, surrounded by artists with whom he has a deep connection. With the first physical edition (V.A/12”) released 15/04/2024, this new release marks the beginning of digital releases for the label. 

Rebels in the electronic music landscape, Silent Ground & setokaib invites you to travel further into the realms of consciousness.

Hunab Ku was the Supreme Creator God of the Mayan pantheon and represented the solar calendar, the balance of forces, perfection, universal consciousness, but also the gateway to other parallel dimensions.

The Symbol of Hunab Ku
Hunab Ku was depicted only through his symbol, but had no actual visible form. He was associated with two other deities: Itzamnà, his son, and Huracan, the god of wind and storms.

Hunab Ku is also a symbol analogous to yin and yang and resembles the shape of a spiral galaxy; Hunab Ku is also the symbol of the center of the Milky Way: the "galactic butterfly."

The Mayan calendar was entirely based on the position of the "galactic butterfly," since the fate of humanity depended on it.
