Laboratory of Noises was founded by Limbus Puerorum and The Outgrinder. It is a contemporary label developing experimental music that spans four/four and irregular rhythms, broken beats and ambient sounds by manipulating and tweaking the intricacies of the realm of Noise art. 
Laboratory of Noises’ exploration of music: 
The assembly of sounds commonly perceived as unpleasant or painful stands in apparent contradiction to the conventional aesthetic of what music is supposed to be. Laboratory of Noises is interested in this contradiction, and seeks to break it down through its musical output. 
Characterized by a dense atmosphere made of minimalist drones, harsh growls, and screaming, distorted voices, The Lab constructs a dark and dissonant universe using prolonged feedback effects, shrill squeaks and sub-bass pulse hums created with synthesizers. Deeply atonal, there are no conventional melodies or rhythms. The output’s structure, its meaning, effect on the listener and the different characteristics of the tracks establish a link with the musical equivalent of destruction, entropy and havoc.

Limbus Puerorum is the side project born in 2017 of Sinus O. Resident of the Constant Value collective in Seoul. 
Native of France and of Taiwanese origin, Eric is a musician and audio engineer. His music is distinct, percussive with frenetic rhythms, he develops experimental, noise and dark sounds with intoxicating paces and very thought-provoking.

This is the year 2022, not 1942, and sadly the Ukrainians are facing something no people should. When this war broke out well over a month ago, I (MÆDON), started reaching out to artist friends asking if they were interested in contributing to a benefit comp for the Ukrainian’s. Many amazing artists joined and the result is a 15 track album filled with a dynamic range of sounds.

With this album, a new series on Sonic Groove is born, “Sonic Groove & Friends”. A series that myself, MÆDON, will be curating. Adam and I also want to thank each of the artists for contributing stellar tracks for this cause.

This album will not be a permanent fixture, so please download it now and know that your money will be donated to a German charity to benefit Ukrainians in this awful time. We will give an update in due time sharing which foundation we donate the money too. Please note, we will not be donating to a charity/foundation that funds weapons of war.

V/sions was founded in Dresden, Germany, at the beginning of 2016. The musical conception is extensive. Impressed by Industrial and Power Electronics, his love located in the techno of the early 90s, EBM and belgian‘s new beat style. All these musical influences are part of his DJ sets, which he combines with his own touch. Music as a universal language forms its conceptual orientation, for which he always provides surprises and a liveliness in his performances.

KŐVÁRI is the third chapter of the BRVTAL compilation series that sets memory of Hungarian architecture and brutalism with 14-track contributions by international and local artists.

György Kővári (1934-1982) is the most mysterious figure of the among Hungarian architects in the last 60 years, who built characteristic and well known buildings like Déli train station (1961-62, 1969), Balatonfüred train station (1967-72), Skála (1982) at Nyugati square or not long ago demolished Kőbánya-Kispest metro and train station (1980), just to mention a few. He never gave interviews, he did not talk much about his works in public, and his oeuvre was not even discussed yet. It looks like he only lived for planning buildings in his short life, so it's not a surprise after university he started working at MÁV Design Institute as an architect, later becoming its leader until his death. Furthermore he was chief architect of METROBER in the '70s, where he also worked on the development of transport hubs in Budapest.

We are glad that a lot of new and some returning artists join their forces on this diverse techno compilation with which we commemorate another and underrated iconic figure of the local brvtalism.

The release channels industrial techno and EBM, embodying sultry sounds composed of winding melodies and raw, noise-driven atmospheres, and it also includes two massive remixes from Italian artist VSK and Belgian DJ and producer 6SISS, who remixes the track "RBH", serving a menacing mutation of erratic drums paired with a demonic melody
