Marcos Antonio Carrillo better know as "Hard Knockz" is a 21 year old Mexican American male. Marcos was born in Chandler, Arizona on July 5th, 1997. He currently resides in Glendale, AZ. Marcos has different talents he incorporates into music. The different things Marcos is able to include: acting, editing and directing videos, making beats, mixing and master songs, etc.

Marcos was introduced to the music world around the age of nine. This was when he and his best friend Henry started recording music on his sisters phone. Shortly after this he started taking music seriously and his father Marcos Carrillo Briceno encouraged him to keep making music. Marcos did this by recording his music into tapes by the age of 12. He upgraded to higher technology around the age of 13. Marcos then took the next big step at the age of 14 by getting into acting and making beats.

Marcos was also inspired by his uncles because they played in a band in Mexico. He knew he could take it father with his music career.

Marcos's dad was a hard-working man who cared unconditionally for his family. He was a good man that many others would come to. He was a dependable man who Marcos looked up to. There was times when Marcos's family would struggle. During these times Marcos's dad would work side jobs in order to provide for the family. He would risk his life and freedom to make sure his family would be eating. he would put his family's needs before his own. Marcos got his hustle from his dad and sees himself making money. When Marcos was 12 years old his dad died. Marcos became very angry and refused counseling. He started getting in trouble with the law and eventually it caught up with him. He was ordered to receive help and he learned how to write his feelings on paper. He started writing about what happened to him and his experiences and struggles.

Marcos's mom Alicia Gamez had to play both roles after the death of his father. Alicia worked very hard to keep Marcos on the right track and was and still always there for him. She helped Marcos with getting his studio set up. She has become truly proud of Marcos and his accomplishments.

When Marcos was released from detention this last time he became more motivated to make music and get himself out there. Music is very important to him and he is committed to this lifestyle. He earns money through music recording and video production.
