This song confronts the negative stigma associated with any form of creative work. The first two verses are from the perspective of strangers, or even friends and family, that don't have faith in personal success in the field. The choruses represent doubts that may stem from their opinions, while the bridge of the song is the turning point, where we overcome the doubt of others and declare the pursuit of our dreams. The final chorus is our response to the doubts of the original choruses; it shows our perseverance through the mass skepticism of success in the creative field.

Bryan Mahon is a Singer/Songwriter from Virginia Beach. 
He has played at the Farm Bureau Live preceding Goo Goo Dolls, OneRepublic/The Script, and Paramore/FallOutBoy, and has also played at the Virginia State Fair preceding Charlie Daniels Band.

Performed in Shaggfest 2015 at the Farm Bureau Live; opened for Trey Songz, Tink, Jidenna, and Young Money Yawn.
