Marcus Legette, better known as King F.A.M.E, learned at a young age what it means to be a fighter, and to dream big. Born in upstate New York he would soon see much of the world and use it to shape who he would become. His teen mom eventually left everything she knew to raise him alone. He experienced many hardships, but saw his mom do all it took to give him the best life she could. With her military affiliation he lived everywhere from Hawaii to California, eventually settling on the Southside of Atlanta, after she was discharged. His musical abilities were clear early on, and he was labeled a child prodigy by many. He was playing the drums by 4 and saxophone by 8 years old. Although he didn’t have an easy life his talents were evident, and would soon change everything for him. 

Unfortunately, before that could happen tough times would continue to follow him. While visiting his grandparents he got the news that his mother was killed in a terrible car accident. He was only 15 at the time. He then moved with them on the rough and drug infested side of Durham, NC. Still F.A.M.E., (Fuck All My Enemies), found a way to persevere. He was a superstar athlete and musician, earning numerous awards and accolades. He went on to be voted “Most Talented” his senior year. He also released his first mixtape under the moniker, “Messiah The Chosen One.” After losing a childhood friend to murder, and on his own doorstep, he relocated to Winston Salem, NC to play basketball for a junior college. Things were turning around until he got caught himself, and was hit with a drug charge. At this point he decided to put all his energy into his first love, music. 

Currently King F.A.M.E. is building a solid buzz after dropping several sought after mixtapes, as well as making a name for himself as an actor. A well rounded man and artist, he continues to put no limits on his passions. His single "Hypnotiq" has garnered a lot of radio attention, and he stays focused on making himself a household name. Fame to him means showing the world that no matter your circumstances you can still be whatever you want to be. Look out and listen up, he’s only beginning to change entertainment as we know it.
