LIMA PERU-based DJ Singer performer “Genesis” was born and raised in Venezuela,
at age 18 she moved to Bogotá, Colombia and instantly fell in love with its eclectic mix of cultures and rythms, which helped her develop a sensibility for sights and sounds. Six years ago Genesis packed her equipment ad dreams and moved to Lima, Peru where she started her music journey as a professional DJ.
With brushes of Electro, Break Beat and Hip Hop, Genesis delivers a mix of Tech, Bassline,  UK Garage with a very melodic and progressive sound. A singer and performer artist, DJ Genesis is a one-woman-package with endless possibilities, and her sound reflects just that.

Biography:
DJ Genesis (David Rodriguez) was born and raised in Hudson County, New Jersey. His devotion and love to music was apparent at an early age as an instrumentalist for over 10 years. Destined for a role in music, he began his DJ career in 2011, quickly landing gigs in NYC, NJ, and California. Now residing in the Tampa Bay, he has exploded into the nightlife scene. Driven by hunger and determination, he has performed at clubs all over the country, including concerts for notable artists. 

Armed with his passion for the culture, vigorous energy, and one-of-a-kind sound, Genesis constantly delivers breathtaking performances.  Ruthlessly working to master his craft, he stops at nothing to astound the crowd.
