The next release from Bryan Chapman and the first since his debut album ‘7 Shadows and Iron Lungs’, which he self-released last September on Monotony, is a four-track EP entitled ‘Sila’.

‘7 Shadows and Iron Lungs’ followed a series of EPs from Bryan to launch his Monotony label.  He had previously cut his teeth with releases for labels like 8 Sided Dice, H-Productions, Affin and Enemy.  But it was on his debut album that he seemed to flourish.  Amongst other accolades it gained “Techno Album of the Month” in Mixmag and found a place in their “Top 50 Albums of 2018”.

On his new ‘Sila EP’ Chapman lays down his intentions from the start with the powerful techno of ‘Gallus’.  Some driving minimalism comes next in the form of ‘Aim Your Arrows At The Sun’, before ‘Headless Angels Of Rotterdam’ with its aural interference.  ‘Hunza’ closes the EP with a determined groove.  It can be difficult to follow such a well-received album as ‘7 Shadows and Iron Lungs’, but on ‘Sila EP’ Bryan Chapman has done it with ease.

Leonardo Chevy's musical roots go back to the nineties because of is innate passion for acid and house music.
He boasts an unbelievable music collection with uncountable pieces of rare records and tapes.
Gradually, Leonardo Chevy has turned his passion for music into spinning music in clubs, playing in some of the most popular national parties, particularly in Italy, where he lives.
He was also one half of Vialocal together with his long term friend Toto Chiavetta, so in addition to the Vialocal Recordings, they made some productions for Nulu Electronic, Defected, Cabana Recordings, Sunclock, Think! House Music, Irma Records, Gotta Keep Faith, Bassline Records and AtJazz Records as "The Sicilian Crew".
But it's in 2015 that his career took a turn starting to produce for the electronic label "SNKE" of Sunclock passing through "Nulu Electronic" up to achieve "Audiophile Deep" and "Science Cult" reaching several times the top of the Electro ranking on Beatport rather than the Techno ranking on Traxsource.
Subsequently contacted by Techniche Recordings to remix a Techno track, he release also an EP under this label.

Bryan has become synonymous with consistently creating stripped-down, hypnotic and looped Techno. In 2017 Bryan created a outlet to fully showcase these works. Monotony was launched, and is curated by Bryan with a vision that fully creates a playground for stripped-down, deeply hypnotic, repetitive, psychedelic, linear, dark techno loops. Bryan’s attention to continually create loops that intertwine around each other with subtle yet devastating effects and automation, creating a style of Techno reminiscent of times long since passed merged with modern forward thinking Techno.
