Kalapati is a Filipino-Australian Rock & Rhythm band based in Melbourne Australia. Formed by Mike Valdivia on August 2014. Recordings were made on March 25, 2015 at Bandang Pinoy Studio courtesy of the famous Hotdog Band and later on, additional songs and versions recorded in Melbourne courtesy of the great Jose Nieto. All are written in Filipino language with original music and lyrics by Mike Valdivia. Members are Mike Valdivia, Tony De Guzman, Jess Marasigan, Archie Villaluz, Lenin Gatus and Simon Villaluz. Songs are inspired by the memories of wonder years spent in Manila and by the current issues just too obvious  to ignore.
