Swiss born, Formentera based dj/producer Ivan Pezzini aka MASSIVAN is back on the dancefloor with a boom (and the lovely vocals of singer BEA LUNA on the title track).
After numerous prestigeous compilation entries (a.o. HOTEL COSTES, BUDDHA BAR) and his latest album release „Family With 3 Hearts“ (just recently out on PSCHENT) being more on the smoother side of things, MASSIVAN now re-introduces his impeccable uptempo production capability again. 
As the first in a string of special dj-friendly EP & single releases through his own PMUSICA imprint, the mystical sounds of „December“ first and foremost make a clear statement: dance, dance, dance... but with class & style please. 
Massivan comes full circle with this kind of darker sound – although being a studied musician with „classical“ skills, he never was a stranger to all things house, trance & techno... and the deep space in between. In fact, the man travelled the globe as a club dj sporting those genres more than a decade ago already.

Featuring an absolutely essential, epic remix by man-of-the-moment Todd Terje, whose edit of Roxy's "Love Is The Drug" gives the evergreen club classic a contemporary twist and is a must-have for anyone who snapped up his remix of Bryan Ferry's "Alphaville". 

On the flipside is a psychedelic, hypnotic, Balearic-style reworking of Roxy's "Avalon", by Norwegian dub-disco doyens Lindstrom and Prins Thomas.

On this, the first single taken from her recently released, mesmerizing album effort "Formentera", Brussels born / Balears based singer Bea Luna gets an organic remix treatment, highlighting the variety and uniqueness of both her smooth approach and warm vocal timbre… with the complete package destined to conquer airwaves as well as landing prestigeous compilation entries. 

Bea Luna's labelboss (and, in this special case, duet partner), renown dj / producer Massivan (aka Ivan Pezzini) transforms the breezy, melancholic feel of the original album version into an inspiringly uplifting, deep house flavoured funky thing on a pop tip… the way only he can.

Meanwhile, Massivan's long time friend & collaborator Olson delivered a classy, Rhodes driven rework which sails the seas between Formentera and your eardrums with quite a lot of soulful dignity. 

No doubt that the original album version represents the stylishly timeless, overall rather jazzy feel of the entire "Formentera" album nicely. Owed, last but not least, to both the craftsmanship of album producers Ivan Pezzini & Wolfgang Haffner - who also contributed some serious playing of instruments, alongside top notch jazz musicians such as Nicolas Fiszman (on guitar in this case) and Christian Diener (on double bass). Yet another reason why Bea Luna's voice as well as her musical vision are here to stay - in just the right place, at just the right time!
