Cal is a professional freelance musician based in Sydney, Australia. Originally classically trained (holding an AMEB grade 7 certificate), He completed his Bachelor of Contemporary Music Performance on his principal instrument, the saxophone. Since then he has added flute and clarinet to his performance and teaching base. As an enthusiastic, exuberant musician, Cal has done multiple Australian national television performances. He toured the World with his craft, at the age of 16 he travelled Europe with the Hunter Central Coast Regional Wind Ensemble, and at 18, as the principal saxophone player, toured Japan with the same band. Most recently Cal has finished an 18 month commitment traveling to over 15 different countries as a resident musician aboard various cruise ships. Cal takes every opportunity to create with other artists and will continue to develop his ability as a musician and standard as a hirable performer.
