He mixes deep and dreamy melodic tunes crafting emotive scenarios from dance-floor to chill out atmospheres. His mantra is crystallized also in his several, well received productions on labels like Pleasure Unit, Paper Recordings, Is it Balearic and Secret Life Music, as well in his search for the perfect beat through his Shades Of Sound record label, radio shows on Balamii Radio and militance on @clandestinomusic channel.

He has delivered for us a perfect summer soundtrack, blending various shades of disco music and uplifting deep house vibes,. Ah.... we miss the clubs.

Up next we have Manuel Darquart with an eclectic offering for Bside. Originating from New Zealand, the duo first released in 2016 before moving to London. Since the move to the big smoke, they have released on Coastal Haze, Childsplay and CC Disco’s first compilation. The pair have also released on the renowned  Dutch label Infinite Pleasure and London’s Wolf which led to a remix EP from non other than Don Carlos. Over time they have played at Corsica, The Cause & Ministry of Sound and an all-nighter at the famous Spiritland.

Kick-back and enjoy this classy contribution to the 'Bside Incoming' series with the NZ duo delivering a warm, breezy selection spanned over the course of two fine hours.

An exploration into the the back-catalogues, the deepest depths, the darkest crevices of their collections. Returning with the spoils of this venture: their most cherished records and hidden gems, from the go-to club weapons to the rarely heard home-listening records, and everything in between.

Music is for sharing.

'By the early sixties, the song on the A-side was the 'hit' song that the record company wanted radio stations to play. The B-side would contain less radio friendly and less popular tracks. In our eyes the B-side is a true reflection of the producers taste in music, there is more personality on that side of the record'.
