Lately, it seems as though King Schascha is everywhere and with everyone. He’s been touring with the legendary English Beat and performing with Sister Nancy, Squeeze, Soul Asylum, UB40, B52’s, The Interrupters, Culture Club, and Berlin. His recordings include guest stars such as Sister Nancy, Sizzla, Neville Staple, SkaFace, and The Transmitters. On top of all that, he is the President of the Escondido United Football Club in Southern California. 

King Schascha is now an integral part of San Diego’s Reggae scene who brings with him a fusion of dancehall, reggae, soul, country, jazz, and calypso. He is known for the authenticity of his songs and genuineness one only finds in the roots of these genres adding his own modern touch to it. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, the region played an integral part in the growth of these genres. “I give thanks everyday for my upbringing,” he says, because he knows how invaluable and priceless the exposure to the true roots of the genre has been for his own music.

Split Party is a duo made up of David Appelbaum (keyboard,  samples) and Andy Warren (drums) of the popular alternative rock band The Mowgli's. From Los Angeles, Split Party takes your favorite hit songs and mashes them up into a psychedelic, high energy dance party. Imagine Girl Talk, but with live instruments playing over the mind bending, groove heavy arrangements. One moment you’re dancing to Britney Spears' Toxic, smashed up with Blur’s Song #2. Then before you know it, time and space has been altered, combining MSTRKFT with The Talking Heads and Jimmy Eat World. Any genre is fair game: funk, pop, hip hop, even video game music. The live set fits comfortably in the EDM/DJ world, offering a unique spin of live, instrumental elements. As members of the rhythm section for the popular band The Mowgli's, the sound is also inherently connected to the world of rock and roll. Split Party’s mission is simple: get lost in the music. Dance, sing, laugh. After all, as the name implies, it’s a party, and everyone is invited.

Ivor Novello Award-winner and Mercury, Grammy, and BRIT-nominated artist Lianne La Havas unveils her new single ‘Disarray.’ The track showcases a blend of emotional depth and striking vocal delivery, set against sparse, ethereal finger-plucked electric guitar —a signature of La Havas’ style. 

“The song felt very intimate, almost like a secret just for me,” says La Havas. “It’s about vulnerability, honesty, and giving listeners a window into a moment of my life.”
