Legendary rapper John Robinson joined forces with dynamic beatmaker Chief to craft this aptly-titled intercontinental masterpiece, “We the Prolific”. After over a year of exchanges, team work and perfecting, the album is finally ready to come out on Feelin’ music.

The collaborative effort, born out of mutual appreciation both personal and musical, shows two universes collapsing into one substantial outcome, a solid album blending elements of traditional hip-hop with modern productions. Over the sinuous course of its thirteen diverse tracks, “We the Prolific” showcases the distinctive flow and lyrics of John Robinson perfectly complementing Chief’s twisted productions, an unlikely alliance pushing the boundaries of hip-hop while preserving its backbone.

The album features guest appearances by both confirmed and upcoming artists such as Kyra Climbingbear, Skitslam, Cymarshall Law, ID 4 Windz, Tiffany Paige, Jocelyn Ellis, and more.

“We the Prolific” truly is a refreshing hip-hop exploit by these two confirmed driving forces of the current hip-hop and beats scene.

Composed by the pianist and arranger Alain Goraguer for the animated film, "La Planète Sauvage", this album became since his release year in 1973, a cult movie soundtrack.

And not only because most of the album's songs were sampled, several time by beatmakers like J Dilla, Madlib, Dj Shadow, Medaphoar or Promoe.

"La Planète Sauvage" was produced in 8-10 days, from the music writing, to the recording sessions, due the the scheduling to sell the movie. The film was already edited, and so the music fits the narrative rythm of the pictures. Mr Goraguer had to play with the living elements happening in each scene, following the events and actions, speed. It's what gives the recording its unique form.

He said in an 2013 interview, that it was a great plaisure to work on this music score. And the production is really apart of his other work for movies. Music for film was for him a place of freedom in comparison to his work for pop singers. It's maybe why this album is so particular.

The compostions are awesome, as the movie, out of boundaries and taking dimension into a deep and progressive fusion blending jazz, funk, classical and rock elements.

Alain Gorgaguer as great jazz fan, always added this feeling into his work with french artists like Bobby Lapointe, Gainsbourg, Boris Vian, France Gall, Jean Ferrat and is also producer of several movie soundtrack.

Medline choosed in his cover to blend three tracks to make one, as the tracks are considered like interlude, ambiant short pieces. So you will recognize parts of "Le Bracelet", "Ten Et Tiwa" and "Maquillage De Tiwa".

After rich adventures in Naïrobi, Kenya, with "Les Sourdes Oreilles" Cosmic Analog Ensemble settled in Lisbon, Portugal, with another story to tell. Second kick in the anthill, "Une Vie Cent Détours" is more than a simple crate digger's treasure. 

The album is created like a journey, it's a way to lost yourself, into the meanders of life, to discover hidden places and meet new faces. Each detours are full of surprises with unexpected rebound. As one man band, conductor and orchestra, Mr Megarbane is the only chief on board. 

With a unique way to play with emotions, coolness and tension, Charif Megarbane drew again an epic fresco. Introducing it with perfumes of the middle east in "Premiers Détours" and hit with a smacking oriental deep funk tune with the leading guitar of "Phoenician Rose". Each track will bring you into tremendous detours... 

Illustrated by Charif himself, the cover is dressed in a refreshing sobriety, leaving to each character a place to deploy his identity, in a beautiful scene of inner life.

“Born on Bronx Blvd” is another ode to what Malik “Fliqht” Chisholm believe’s the essence of “Lite Feet” music truly is. Finding & filling empty pockets and at some points completely revamping the groove of his inspo-subject (life) to translate what’s in his head into his laptop and ultimately, the speakers. He takes us on a walk around his block and tells us the story of his infatuation with the high-energy dance tunes curated for/from the dance scene of a primarily millennial-NYC; specifically, his hometown “The Bronx” in this instance...the ‘nucleus’
