GOGO Music proudly comes up with the second release of Sir LSG, after they presented ‘Sax In The City’, which still was released under LSG's former moniker ‘Hood Natives’ and became a smash-hit in 2011. This time Sir LSG teamed up with renown Soul-singer Brian Temba and Kafele who adds his distinctive trumpet lines. Remixes are contributed by the legendary DJ Spinna, and Ben Moss to complete a splendiferous release.  

This GOGO Music release has been in the works for quite some time, but it surely was worth the wait and efforts, as we now are able to present a well rounded package of a well written song – exactly the aim at GOGO Music.

From soulful vocal drenched songs such as 'Turn Back To You' featuring house hero Robert Owens play through, we start to really get a grounded feel to what this album is about, 'Two guys making music for the right reasons'. Dark and edgy songs like 'White Rose' & 'Overshadowed' seem to complete this technically polished album and whatever you like about house music, you'll find something here for your taste. An incredible electronic body of work which tells an emotional story, of both Atjazz & Jullian Gomes' lengthy journey through this musical jungle.

Lars Behrenroth from Deeper Shades Recordings and Deeper Shades Of House is a deep house fan first and foremost. So when the chance comes to put together a package including artists he truly admires, all strings will be pulled! 

For this Deeper Shades Recordings release, Peter Oakden & Ricky Reid from "The True Rebels" created a bass heavy and dub influenced midtempo house tune. 
Label head Lars Behrenroth couldn't leave his fingers off it and remixed the track by raising the tempo while still keeping the integrity and core of the original. 
Another one of Lars' favorite artist's, Sello from Dusseldorf finally remixed "Lift It Up" and turned it into an organic brain twister, keeping the original BPM.

This release is truly by fans for fans!

Overshadowed is mainly an instrumental workout featuring equal input from both producers. Based around the struggle to "make it in the music world" this song is full of strength & power and pushes through the underground fog which most of us have to fight through daily. Clean & sharp drums surrounded by afro-percussion drive this song while the emotional sequences bring in the combined stories of each musician. A truly heartfelt piece of work from two of the globes most dynamic electronic music writers.

Both Iveson & Gomes wear their hearts on their sleeves to bring you their own interpretations of Overshadowed. Atjazz taking things emotional and deep and pulling at the softer strings of life uses deeply EQ'd bass and kicks and compliments these elements with lush drifting sequences and touches of vocal samples while Jullian takes the dance floor by the feet and drops the club hit, serious sub-bass and chunk beats are just what we need in this world. Overall, Overshadowed shows the inner side of two very talented people,a project for every lover of well thought out dance music.
