I like this section better than the rest. Reminds me of Deadmau5 a little bit. Plus those little tweaks and plucks are awesome.

Storming talent Matt Fax from France continues to contribute new, inspiring material to Silk, especially our Arrival division. This time he is ready with "Orion", including two new originals. The title track, "Orion", is also featured on the newly launched "Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom" compilation.

"Orion" starts out smoothly with enjoyable pad layers and soothing sound effects. As the track progresses, numerous synths are added, and in the break, a lush theme melody emerges. Subtle piano chord stabs join the theme in creating a unique and mesmerizing atmosphere. A darker groove is introduced in "Hidden Feelings", where the break features a set of pleasant piano melodies and hypnotizing pad elements. The track continues in full effect, mainly enhanced by the powerful combination of the intriguing theme lead and rolling bassline.

The follow-up to 2008’s progressive classic, and the first album to be released on Anjunadeep “Everything Is OK” (“a crossover gem ****” DJ Mag), “Multiverse” takes his sound into the main room; retaining all the melodic flair and refined production that his prolific career has been built on.

Revered as the warm-up DJ of choice for stadium-fillers Above & Beyond, Jaytech has stealthily risen as a headline prospect in his own right in 2012. With tours of Japan, Australia, Europe and USA already under his belt, and appearing at some of the world’s largest festivals including the iconic Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Tomorrowland in Belgium, and Global Gathering – he’s truly made his mark on the EDM scene. 

As a producer, Jaytech’s pedigree has long been recognised. As a DJ, he remains a respected selector of new sounds, with his Jaytech Music podcasts regularly showcasing the best in modern progressive and his mixes for the “Anjunadeep” compilation series hitting number one twice in the iTunes dance chart, both with his Anjunadeep 02 compilation in 2010, ("Compilation of the month ****” -Mixmag) and again in 2011 with Anjunadeep 03. 

Both classy and club focused, “Multiverse” represented a natural juncture for Jaytech to elevate from Anjunadeep to the more main-room energies of Anjunabeats; a label responsible for hits like Above & Beyond’s “Sun & Moon”, Arty’s “Around The World” and Mat Zo’s “Bipolar”. Jaytech - Multiverse Mini-Mix

I wrote this on two flights. One to the east coast from Texas and the other here to Amsterdam. I've used Ableton, Alchemy, Diva, numerous plugins for mixing etc and for editing CDP, Csound, Spear, Iris and quite a bit of RX.

Playing around with a bunch of new spectral stretching a blurring algorithms and techniques that are sure to find their way into a new version of Stutter Edit at some point.

I've never really shared things as I am working on them, but the response to this has overwhelmingly positive, so here's one that I finished last night.

What an incredible time it is that it is possible to compose over 38,000ft in the air, and have the CPU, software and materials to finish a composition like this. All not in a studio. It's something I have quite literally dreamt of for years.
