Imagine being five years old, seeing your favorite artists perform miracles on TV, and deciding right then and there that music was to be your chosen career path. Sound impossible? Well, not for Aaron DeVivi aka VIV

VIV was so taken with music that he immediately started trying to duplicate the tracks he had heard. Eminem and Dr. Dre cassette tapes were the first albums he ever owned, and by 7 years old he was rapping eminem verses on the schoolbus entertaining people. He insisted on knowing what was going on in the hip hop world at a young age. VIV also wrote his first rap at 7 years old after his parents divorced. Music was his get away from his parents always arguing. By 10 years old he knew he had a gift but wasn't quite sure what it was at the time. Back and forth between schools, constantly watching his mother struggle after the divorce, left him with no other choice but to take responsibility and become the man of the house. By 12 he had already been in the party scene and began getting into trouble, hanging out with the wrong group. He adopted the street life not knowing what he was getting into. 16 years old is when his life changed dramatically. His mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and died 3 months later. His father was never apart of the picture and when he tried to be all he wanted to do was control him. By this time VIV had already been to jail 3 times and dropped out of highschool. After getting out of jail he had enough of the New York State judicial system so he decided to hit the road and head to South Carolina. He had never considered taking rap music seriously, although he always did it as a hobby and people gave him compliments it took him going to Myrtle Beach and meeting DJ Leem before he started pursuing it. He was relating to the music that was out at the time and it impacted him to become the best he could be, he had no other choice, it was his calling. For once in his life he actually felt like he was doing something right after all the mistakes he had made.

When it became apparent that this was no ordinary talent, VIV started writing & recording music everyday. The lyrics were improving with every song he wrote and his sex appeal was gaining lots of female attention. VIV started sharing the songs he had been recording with a few of the girls he befriended with at the time and they were all fans instantly. Overwhelmed, by how fast the music was progressing and how many fans he was gaining on a daily basis, VIV dove in head first and has never looked back.

By age 19, VIV had combined his love of wordplay with his other love – sales. Giving people what they wanted for the price they wanted to pay, VIV honed his entertaining skills, precise vocabulary, and got into the car business. His first month in the business he got a taste of the life he wanted to be able to live. His first month he sold 20 cars and made $9,500 dollars. Right then and there he started to invest in high quality recording equipment. It was time to really get things started.

By 20, VIV had already been offered different management positions at multiple new car dealerships in a few different states. VIV quotes "I understand business and sales, theres a psychology behind it." He decided to relocate to Atlanta, GA for a Internet Manager position at a Hyundai store. VIV went to a few different studios in ATL and learned alot about the music industry in his short 3 month stay before he landed back in Myrtle Beach. When he got back from Atlanta he was struggling with a toxic relationship and having difficulties finding a job and a place to live so he returned to Seneca Falls, New York. It hadn't been a month he had been back and the cops were already harassing him and looking for reasons to put him in jail. VIV had just broke up with his girlfriend of 2 yrs, after he accumulated enough money he returned to Myrtle Beach. The place VIV considers his home. At that point it was gametime. 

In early 2014 VIV lived in the studio aiming to build a catalog of timeless music. After releasing a ton of music onto the internet his name grew even more. In the summer of 2014 VIV landed a management deal with Vital Slice Management based in South Carolina. Currently VIV is talking to various record labels and is preparing for his debut tour following the release of his highly anticipated LP.
