Happy Christmas to you all, wherever you are.  This is a Christmas song I wrote a couple of years ago and I still haven’t got round to recording it properly, so this is a phone recording I’ve done just now to wish you all peace and seasons greetings, wherever you are across the world.  Just to say that I’m also thinking of those for whom Christmas isn’t the perfect time of year too.  Stay safe, Rowena x

Ambient Track. With all that going on in Ukraine and two and a half years of pandemic decided to watch Blue Planet to chillout. These deep ocean vents took me away to a different place. Started early this morning locked in my bedroom studio , came up with this Ambient track  bit rough around the edges hope it chills you out for a short time.

This remix (March 20024) removes the rim shot (which was driving me nuts) and adds a new drum section.  
The nspiration is Ann Leckie's award winning "Ancillary Justice"  epic, written back in 2014. How did I miss it? 
This is  the first track on a mini-album and is meant to reflect the overall theme: the hyper rational determination of the central character (Breq) to deliver justice against an empire bent on brutal annexations.  Hmmm.....
The cover art is from a limited edition of the book and is by Lauren Saint-Onge.

I've been "away" for a while musically, because I was busy with setting up a new PC as "music machine", but yesterday and today I've created a new track from scratch, started with programming percussion, beats, brass and stuff, the jungle vibe ambience included (with Palindrome); so all is vst and no audio loops used.
