SELF LOVE DEMO

My first string quartet, "Work Week". Each movement is a day of the week, with various motifs (many related to time) woven throughout the piece as a whole. There is a strong element of symmetry: Friday mirrors Monday, Thursday mirrors Tuesday, and Wednesday is a perfect palindrome - it's notes are identical played forward and backwards. The demo recording here was made by the Armadillo String Quartet (http://string-quartet-vancouver.com), with Cameron Wilson as first violin, Marcus Takizawa as second violin, Henry Lee as viola, and Finn Maniche as cello. Marcus Takizawa handled the recording.
