Known for his prevalent appearances at the record-breaking VIVa Warriors residency at Sankeys Ibiza this Summer, Detlef has captured all of the passion and energy of his renowned live performances in a tight set of 3 dancefloor weapons. 

Previous support for Detlef’s work reads like a directory of tastemakers, with Loco Dice, Laurent Garnier, Joris Voorn, Mendo, Reboot, Luna City Express, Hot Since 82 and, of course the VIVa MUSiC family patriarch Steve Lawler, to name only a few. 

The title track is remixed by a rising star set to explode out of the London scene - CERI.

<p>We welcome Hermanez to our label, as he starts his three-part journey with &#8220;Fruit&#8221;, a locomotive number based on quirky percussion and loopy chords, all thrown into the mix furiously via a persistent hi hat. &#8220;Hagel&#8221; is more subliminal, due mostly to the soothing melodies which later mutate to anthemic proportions, while the busy rhythm section keeps everything rolling nicely. John Graves delivers another vital speech about House music over the stripped-down &#8220;Rauwer&#8221;, allowing eerie musical elements to surface over old-school sounding drums and a naughty bassline.</p>

<p>The mysterious Bacchus joins the Say What! ranks with this three-tracker, and it&#8217;s the melody-heavy &#8220;Viet Cong&#8221; that sets the tone. Bass stabs and crafty pads intertwine effortlessly while spacey percussion and loopy synths stay true to the vibe. &#8220;Clones&#8221; takes a completely different route, employing bubbling subs and cavernous effects before -yes- a cowbell takes center stage. The deal is sealed with &#8220;Picture Puzzle Pattern Door&#8221; where we are treated to yet more chord action and a more rolling mood, strongly reinforced by the dubbed-out vocals and grinding rhythm section.</p>

For Clint's second solo effort on Second State he brings us two big room jams. With the Throwing Stones EP he takes the same approach as he did with the previous Warpaint EP by going for two different vibes on either side of the record. 
On the A side we have 'Throwing Stones'; a peak time club tune perfect for dark spaces and strobe lights. With giant rolling sub bass, a heavy kick, crisp hi hats and crunchy hand claps the groove slowly grows into a big break with atmospheric chimes and vocal snippets. Soon you are lost in an ethereal break, but suddenly snapped back into reality as the bass changes and a single looping synth takes center stage creating a driving yet euphoric peak time floor filler. 
With the flip side, Clint goes for a warmer, uplifting tone with 'Come Undone'. Starting with finger snaps and a growing arpeggio, the vibe slowly builds as big toms and dreamy atmospherics introduce a massive sub bass line. As a shaker creeps up and another synth blends with the original arpeggio the beat finally drops. A solid four to the floor groove ensues and culminates into a wash of delayed chimes as the breakdown introduces the lead; an unforgettable brass line that is sure to have all the hands in the air at a sunny open air or a morning at the club.

'Sub Conscious' was originally conceived as the exclusive track for Erol Alkan's 'FabricLive 77' mix, which was released to major critical acclaim back in August. A highlight track within the mix, 'Sub Conscious' has now been remixed by Tin Man and new Phantasy signing Kamera. 

Kamera's rich sonic space was part born in rural Yorkshire and eventually came to fruition in the wintry Majorca sunshine, his soundinfluenced by artists such as Sunn o))), Fugazi, Autechre and Sabres of Paradise. Kamera takes the track's acidic origins and threatens to overpower with layers of stunning feedback that drag the listener in further still. Stay tuned for an EP from Kamera on Phantasy in early 2015.
