Explanation of the mantra
•Vessantara, in Meeting the Buddhas, suggests that in the first line (“Oṃ Vajrasattva! Preserve the bond!”) we are acknowledging our alienation from our true nature by calling upon Vajrasattva to preserve the bond, or samaya, whereby we do the Vajrasattva invocation regularly and Vajrasattva for his part responds by bestowing upon us the fruits of the practice. This “bond” represents a mutual commitment on the part of the practitioner and Vajrasattva. In psycho-spiritual terms, if you strive to realize your own innate purity, your innate purity will strive to manifest itself from the depths of the unconscious.
•We then (“As Vajrasattva stand before me”) call upon Vajrasattva as a spiritual friend (kalyanamitra), to manifest in our meditation and in our lives.
•We entreat Vajrasattva (“Be firm for me”) to be with us constantly. We are endeavoring to constantly come back to recognizing the mind’s true nature.
•“Be greatly pleased for me. Deeply nourish me. Love me passionately.” Vajrasattva becomes more like an intimate friend or even a lover, and is no longer just a protector. He’s someone who knows us deeply and cares passionately for us. He is our own deepest nature, so at this stage in the mantra we’re experiencing a reunion with ourselves. In the words of the poet Derek Walcott, “You will love again the stranger who was your self.”
•“Grant me siddhi in all things, And in all actions make my mind most excellent.” We now embody the qualities of Vajrasattva himself, and so to some extent we have become him. Siddhi is a Sanskrit word that literally means “perfection,” “accomplishment,” “attainment,” or “success,” and it refers to spiritual power attained through practice.
•“Ha ha ha ha ho!” This is the joyful sound of liberation. These five syllables are also said to represent the five Buddha families, which are all emanations of Vajrasattva.
•“Blessed One! Vajra of all the Tathāgatas! Do not abandon me.” Having experienced the innate purity of the mind, we aspire always to stay in touch with it. The “Tathāgatas” are the Buddhas, and the “Vajra of all the Tathāgatas” is the innately pure nature of the Awakened mind.
•“Be the Vajra-bearer, Being of the Great Bond!” This suggests that we are imploring Vajrasattva to be means for and path to Enlightenment for all beings. He is the vajra-bearer (the representation of Awakening” for all sentient beings.
•According to Vessantara, the syllable “hūṃ” is added to the mantra when someone has died, and the syllable “phaṭ” is added in order to subdue demons. Without the hūṃ and the phat the mantra has exatly 100 syllables.

The Gāyatrī Mantra is a highly revered mantra, based on a Vedic Sanskrit verse from a hymn of the Rigveda (3.62.10), attributed to the rishi Viśvāmitra. The mantra is named for its vedic gāyatrī metre.[1] As the verse can be interpreted to invoke the deva Savitr, it is often called Sāvitrī.[2] Its recitation is traditionally preceded by oṃ and the formula bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, known as the mahāvyāhṛti ("great utterance").

The Gayatri Mantra is repeated and cited very widely in vedic literature,[3] and praised in several well-known classical Hindu texts such as Manusmṛti,[4] Harivamsa,[5] and the Bhagavad Gita.[6][7] The mantra is an important part of the upanayanam ceremony for young males in Hinduism, and has long been recited by Brahmin males as part of their daily rituals. Modern Hindu reform movements spread the practice of the mantra to include women and all castes and its use is now very widespread

Tác dụng của thần chú Kim Cang Tát Đoả giúp cho người trì tụng được trừ đi những tội lỗi họ đã phạm phải. Nếu mỗi ngày trì tụng 7 lần thần chú này mọi lỗi trong ngày đó đều được sám hối. Tụng trì nhiều sẽ có công năng hoá giải mọi sự xui, hạn, nghiệp ác.

Hành giả trì tụng với tâm chí thành tha thiết ,nương nhờ oai thần lực của ngài để giải trừ nghiệp chướng .Thật ra con người rất yếu đuối trước những cám dỗ của cuộc sống.Việc giữ giới giúp chúng ta không động tâm ,ngăn chặn những hành vi xấu ác.Nhưng việc tuân thủ giới luật là một chuyện vô cùng khó khăn,nhất là các giới nguyện của mật thừa.Nếu không có thần chú của ngài chắc chắn những hạnh nguyện vĩ đại của mật thừa sẽ không thể nào thực hiện được.

Các tai nạn,thư ếm,tà thuật,sự xáo trộn trong quá trình tu tập khiến hành giả khó có thể trụ nổi trong luân hồi.

Phương pháp sám hối bằng Kim Cang Tát Đỏa là pháp tối vi diệu thù thắng nhất trong tất cả các Pháp Sám . Nó không chỉ cần thiết cho kẻ tu tập mà thôi mà ngay cả những kẻ không tin là có luân hồi , kiếp sau cũng nên thực hành Pháp này , vì Pháp tịnh hóa của Kim Cang Tát Đỏa có năng lực mạnh hơn các Nghiệp bất thiện ! Nó có thể che chở cho ta khỏi trải nghiệm những khó khăn , đau khổ do chư Nghiệp bất thiện mang tới , do vậy thực hành tịnh hoá Kim cang Tát Đỏa là việc nên làm ngay , xin chớ chần chờ.

Đức Pabongka Dechen Nyingpo Đạo Sư của các Đạo Sư dòng Geluk có nói rằng : Nếu bạn giết 1 con dế hay con trùng mà không mà không tu hành tịnh hoá Kim Cang Tát Đỏa trong ngày đó , sức nặng của Nghiệp sẻ tăng gấp đôi ở ngày sau , , ngày thứ ba lại tăng gấp đôi và tới ngày thứ 15 sẻ nặng như giết 1 người .Ở ngày thứ 18 sẻ phát triển 131.072 lần . Và như vậy chúng ta thấy hằng tuần , tháng , năm ..... trôi qua chỉ một Nghiệp bất thiện nhỏ bé sẻ tăng nhân lên nhiều lần , rất nhiều lần như vậy , và trong đời chúng ta phàm phu thì tránh làm sao không mang Nghiệp ? Và chắc chắn sẻ trở thành kích thước của ngọn núi so với trái đất này . Và đến lúc chết , nó trở nên quá đổi nặng nề .....!

Do đó có câu " Kẻ trí Nghiệp nặng cũng thành nhẹ , người ngu Nghiệp nhẹ cũng hoá nặng " , đó cũng là do chúng ta có biết thực hành Tịnh Hóa , Sám Hối hay không mà thôi . Và Sám Pháp , công năng mảnh liệt , thù thắng nhất là Kim Cang Tát Đỏa Sám
