Edited Arts is launching Serotonin, the second in a new series of charity fundraising compilations.

Serotonin features contributions by some long-lasting friends and new found collaborators ; Dane Law, DIDA, dj celes, Eye Measure, FARWARMTH, Felisha Ledesma, Georgie McVicar, hogobogobogo, IVVVO, KMRU, Lauren Duffus, Lenticloud, Monofee, mu tate, Nexcyia, onybdy, Shit Creek, SPECIMENS and 空蟬(Cicada Shell)

Cherubic voices, sparkling drums, and drones on their way back home from an all-nighter set the scene for this compilation. 19 artists have made sonic references to the hormone that acts to regulate our wellbeing. This is the second release from a series that is musically themed on psycho-sensory states of happiness, or the lack thereof.

Profits from this release will go to the Black Cultural Archives and Raw Music Media. 2 Brixton based organisations / charities.

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Buddies Without Organs. 

Hosted by Sean Pearce and Matt Colquhoun, BwO is a podcast exploring the concepts of Gilles Deleuze. Perhaps the best known of the French post-structuralists of the second half of the twentieth-century, Deleuze is a notoriously difficult thinker to read closely. Together, Sean and Matt hope to better their own understanding of his body of work as well as open up new entry points for others.

We began our adventure with our podcast's namesake -- the body without organs.

THE HIBERNATION SENTINEL

Philipp Zöhrer is interested in moments and atmospheres of collective ecstasy, in which a dancing audience gets into. Empty rooms, like those created everywhere by the corona epidemic, attract him equally. He takes us to the church ruin of Wachau at the outskirts of the city of Leipzig, where he is currently living. Exclusively for the Kunsthalle Darmstadt, the scenery is accompanied by a compilation of post-punk and wave music, whose melancholic and hypnotic sound takes you back to mythical times.

Philipp Zöhrer interessiert sich als Künstler für Momente und Atmosphären der kollektiven Ekstase, in die zum Beispiel ein tanzendes Publikum gerät. Menschenleere Räume, wie sie durch die Corona-Epidemie überall entstehen, ziehen ihn gleichermaßen an. Er nimmt uns mit in die Kirchenruine Wachau, die in seiner Wahlstadt Leipzig steht. Exklusiv für die Kunsthalle Darmstadt wird die Kulisse der Kirchenruine mit einer Compilation aus Post-Punk und Wave Musik untermalt, deren melancholischeu und hypnotischer Sound in mythisierte Zeiten zurückversetzt.
