Revealed on COD3 QR, Laurent Garnier's label, the French producer Voltaire aims to become a key figure in the renewal of French electronic music with an album in 2025 entitled "Echoes". Ahead of its release "[QR]D.292.VOL1.24" presents 3 of its tracks. Voltaire has also signed banging tracks on A-Traction and more recently on Electronik Zoo Sounds.

Voltaire doesn't belong to the serail, the preferential circuits of the electro universe: he's an artist who built his career through passion, after electronic music fell into his lap somewhat by chance. Coming from a region far from the preferred circuits of the electro world, he cultivated his predispositions in autarky. Very quickly, the musician took advantage of his training in the audio-visual industry (where he worked as a sound recordist and mixer for cinema, advertising and haute couture) to raise the artistic and technical quality of his productions to a very high level.

Voltaire uses his perfectionist approach to music to create a richly emotional eclecticism, inspired by reminiscences of the historical signatures of electronic music, from the pioneers of Detroit to the glorious electro decades of the 2000s and 2010s. Between nostalgia and the search for new forms of contemporary electro, which must reconcile efficiency and inspiration: "I love all facets of electronic music and I want to remain open to all influences. This approach also allows me to avoid formatting my music".

Today Voltaire is a COD3 QR regular: he has remixed "Tales from the Real World" from Laurent Garnier's latest album, had several vinyl and digital releases and has been in the line-up of several events with the godfather of French techno, with whom a relationship of loyalty and trust has been firmly established. His forthcoming releases complete this first sequence and open up a new one: with his powerful reminiscences of techno, house and electro from 2000 and 2010, Voltaire has established himself as the newcomer to watch on a Frenchy techno in a full renewal.

Zoé Del Rez is a French DJ and co-founder of the Borderless collective. Her love for techno was born in the vibrant underground scene of Buenos Aires. Back in Paris, she used her experience in Latin America to craft her sonic universe, infused with tribal textures and inspired by the immersive energy of mental and hypnotic techno.

She has since carved out her own path-rooted in emotion, contrast, and pure rhythm. Her sets blend hypnotic layers with groovy, high-energy pulses, creating a space where movement becomes meditation. Currently living in Detroit (Matrix of Techno Music and the Underground World), Jef has been standing out in his presentations as a DJ and Live PA and with your duo Back-to-Back and Productions with Gary Martin (Teknotika), called "Detscientists", also starting a new base of operation of his consagred Label "Future Visions Label".

In the decade of 90 in a space that is designed to Reveal New Talent Night at the legendary "Technova" in extinct Lov.e Club Lounge where resident DJ Mau Mau (one most important DJ's of Sao Paulo, Brazil), Jef came the under pseudonym "Human Robot "and launched great authoring songs through many labels around the world. Jef created his own label called "HaedroN Music", dedicated only to launching his productions as his other pseudonym "IVRAIC", where he explores different types of visions within his own music, using the creativity with more freedom and expanding his sonorities without limits, consolidating his work as a music producer. He also has two other labels, one of which is the "Future Visions Label" especially open to all friendly producers and partners around the world and has great releases in his catalog of Legends such as Sean Deason, Gary Martin (Gigi Galaxy), Plural and other important producers like Tessuto, Declyn, Keita Sato, Deepbreath etc..., and also the "Infinity Music Label", dedicated exclusive to release like as "Human Robot" inspired on side more deep, romantic and abstract side of Techno.

Djs, producers, selectors.. Budé Room is a concept for electronic music lovers. At the beginning we all have been hooked by Techno music in 1991. Artists like Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Mad Mike, Dj Hell, Slam, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Carl Craig, Maurizio, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and his glorious electro sets, labels like Underground Resistance, Fnac Music & FCom, Harthouse, Djax-up Beats, Strictly Rythm, Gigolo, Kanzleramt, Innervision, MusicMan, KMS, and many many more. 

We've been moved and thrilled all these years by their creativity, their sensitivities. Now, we want to say thanks to those artists, and show that we understood what they built and how we want to move things forward our way. It's all about telling stories. Strong stories, exciting stories, beautiful stories. 

Long story short : we started clubbing and djing in the early 90’s. Then followed 20 years of nightlife (mega-warehouses/city-nightclubs/free-parties/glorious-nights/blah-blah), we LOVE electronic music from the very beginning, and we definitely LOVE partying together. 

In the beginning of the 2010’s (when not at Rexclub), we've spent 3 years rumbling and raging in a small condo in the very heart of Paris (rue Budé), with a huge sound-system, strong stone walls and terrified neighbours. And, as we hate all the hype ego-trips and star-system around many electronic artists with more social image and viral videos than good tracks and vibes, we called our private friday nights the “anti Boiler Room”. Budé Room was born, and since then, we spread the world (ok, let’s say Paris city for a start). After striking residence in Leopard Café, then 4Eléments, we started the Budé Room Radio Show, first on Deep Kulture, then on Line Out Radio, where we like to invite our friends (#Technofamily, you know who you are...) and any french or international artists we love. 

Electro, house, electronica, funk, groove, jazz or experimental are like madeleines we share. All with sincerity and honesty, some fun, and french private jokes (miserable ones). We hope you will enjoy our music as much as we enjoy playing it !
