Remerging onto the London Punk scene at the iconic Birds Nest, cult Camden band Black Powder Merchants announced that their long awaited debut record, Keep Your Powder Dry, will be released 21st April 2023.

Recorded in 2018/19 at Lab Studios before world events forced the band into hibernation and scattered them as far and wide as Canada the record has not lost any of its impact whilst sitting on the shelve. 

To bolster the album single Like an Animal, release date 23rd March 2023, will come fully loaded with a music video rumoured to have been shot in a disused government pandemic facility, a remix by Freear of  Slamboree and "B Side" track Bob Calling Awesome.

Black Powder Merchants still retain the full force punk rock energy and grooves that made them a pre-pandemic Camden regulars, yet, now they have added an extra edge of Soprano Christina.

Colin Robert Fraser is a composer/songwriter based in the Highlands of Scotland who came to widespread attention fronting indie-rock band, Jyrojets; building an impressive early CV with the five-piece, Fraser penned three top 30 Indie Chart singles and toured extensively across the UK, the US, Mainland Europe and Russia. 

Following the band’s split, Fraser continued to develop his craft and has since forged a strong reputation writing for various types of media. A skilled, self-taught multi-instrumentalist, as a composer he has been commissioned by a broad range of film and TV clients. To date, his portfolio includes -
