Lootpack – Madlib, Wildchild and DJ Romes – formed in the sea-side town of Oxnard CA, a couple hours north of Los Angeles, and a lifetime away from the mainstream hip-hop world.  When Wolf signed the group to Stones Throw in 1998, Madlib had already produced an impressive body of work, enough to fill a 3LP debut album ("Soundpieces") and a series of 12-inch singles.  Loopdigga EP collects the rare tracks on those out-of-print singles, each taken from the original master record.

“It was all a dream……“ is the most known sentence, when anyone remembers about the first days of falling in love with Hip Hop Music. Brous One’s first main influences had been Lord Finesse, Heltah Skeltah, The Real Pete Rock and Brand Nubian back in the days in Santiago de Chile. After becoming a well-known Producer within the worldwide underground scene through releases with Retrogott via Entbs and many releases through the Vinyl Digital Label, “Consequences” is another major Album project.
How wonderful, when consequences just lead to such precious results. The legendary US Hip Hop Label ReDefinition had the idea to release an album project together with Brous and so we all are more than happy to enjoy the ReDef Allstars on some of the best beats Brous ever produced! We welcome the ReDef MC’s El Da Sensei (of Artifacts), BLU, Sadat X (of Brand Nubian), Kaimbr, Kunal, N. Hardem, Raw Poetic and Flex Matthews on this project. Another great honor is, that Damu The Fudgemunk slipped back into his role as a DJ and refined the project with dope cuts & scratches. The Album is rounded off by additional guest appearances of Brous’ close friends Retrogott, Matiah Chinaski & Niko Soprano.
When a dream of the past results in such consequences, this is not only a pure pleasure for your eardrums, but even another milestone in the development of sample-based Hip Hop Sound!

With releases for Digital Soundboy, Love & Other and This Ain’t Bristol under his belt (the latter reaching #1 on the Beatport chart) and more as his drum and bass alias Kindred, not to mention celebrated production work for the likes of Little Simz and Meridian Dan, Jakwob might just be one of the most prolific producers in the UK. Now he’s back with something a little different: a brand new EP for Twin Turbo, the all-digital all-banger offshoot of Tiga’s Turbo Recordings. ‘Feel So Good’ is set for release on 1st July 2016, mastered by none other than Turbo stalwart and Bavaria’s finest Zombie Nation.

‘Feel So Good’ is a pneumatic stomper with irresistible synth flourishes and skittering hi hats that sees Jakwob crash head first into full-on peak time dancefloor territory. You can see why the track blew up at Miami this year having been handed to a select handful of DJs, and why Jakwob aka James Jacob can count Diplo, Todd Edwards, Skrillex, Busy P, Sinden, Claude Von Stroke and Justin Martin amongst his growing number of fans. 

The EP also sees Jakwob revisit his recent collaboration with enigmatic London beatmaker HiFe on the rolling ‘Excuse Me’, with the pair having previously worked together on ‘People Walk’ for Love & Other. Icy, atmospheric banger ‘Skup’ and an extended acid remix from Dutch newcomer and Turbo’s newest signing TRACE7000 completes the four-track package.

Speaking about the release, Turbo don Tiga commented, “Feel So Good has been one of the biggest tracks for me over the past few months, and the TRACE7000 is actually my favorite record of the moment. Vintage Turbo party bombs.”

Presenting the 5th release by #INTERNETGHETTO, more of a community than a "music label", where we post fresh music by up and coming producers every week.
Johnathan Thomas has been a part of our fam for a while now, he is based in Chicago, and produces mostly Juke and 160BPM bass music, but he is obviously influenced by all sounds current and fresh. The music of Dismal EP is aware of the cdarker cyber club mood, minimalist and on point. Moralz, also our long time collaborator, provides the cross-over Juke/Drum`n Bass remix that mixes perfectly with Cosmic Bridge releases. Seapoint adds another remix to the EP, completely different, 4/4, deep, but certainly a good kind of house. We are all fans of his Vapor Hymn and are glad to finally welcome Seapoint to #INTERNETGHETTO fam.
