Die letzten 60 Seasidetrip Episoden sind nicht ganz spurlos an eurem Käpt’n und seiner Crew vorbeigegangen - vieles Schönes ist dadurch entstanden und möchte gehegt und gepflegt werden, viele Anfragen erreichen uns per Flaschenpost, welche nicht schnell zu öffnen und zu beantworten sind, viele Briefmöwen sind unterwegs und verbreiten frohe Kunde und übermitteln Danksagungen, Verabredungen und die Pläne für neue Projekte. Und so kommt es, das wir ein wenig länger als gedacht, jedoch mit bedacht ausgedacht, in einem verborgenen Nothafen vor Anker gingen. Die beiden Klabauter sind ebenfalls weit gereiste und erprobte Seemänner und so gab es genug zu schnacken und Seemannsgarn zu spinnen, während wie die Rum-Vorräte der alten Werft im Nothafen leer tranken. Dabei drifteten wir hin und her und hoch und runter und dabei entstand dieser aussagekräftige 2 Stunden Mix. Und wie ließen uns schon die Altvorderen wissen: Gut Ding will Weile haben, so verweile und trink Rum! Ihr solltet JETZT 2h eurer Zeit, für einen weiteren Seasidetrip aufbringen und somit dem tristen Alltag entfliehen - wir sind Träumer, Utopisten und vor allem eins, soundhaftige Seemänner.

To kickstart the Shadow Series, where we aim to introduce our listeners to some harder and darker sounds, emerges Transcode. The young Mancunian specialises in dark and melodic techno, already touted as an upcoming star by techno giants Stil Vor Talent. His single features two weighty remixes, the first of which from German duo Kaiser Souzai, whom are popular among the European techno circuit and we are big fans of here in the Throne Room office playlist. Kaiser Souzai's remix adds a main room element to the track, evolving the melody into what we can only describe as spectacular. The second remix is one we are extremely honoured to line up under our label, a simply brilliant take from multi-platinum record selling producer Glenn Morrison. Most will know Glenn Morrison has signings to industry leaders like Sony Records, Sony Music ATV and Universal Music Group as a writer, producer and recording artist. Overall this is an impressive plunge into the techno pool, rather than simply dipping our toes in the water, and the release as a whole we expect to further push the boundaries we here Throne Room Records reach for.
