Growing up in the sunny isle of Nassau, Ma'Bui (born Bray-Felize Rahming) always longed to be in the spotlight. Growing up, they uprooted their life in the Bahamas and moved to the Montreal,Quebec, to not only hone their skills, but to gain a better understanding of their craft. Ma'Bui's style of music takes cues from the gritty and rambunctious sound that is popular today – with a mix of a Caribbean vibe. As they started expanding their repertoire they started introducing singing and a variety of new sounds to their catalog. Ma'Bui's latest project, titled Daydreaming About Luv, is a departure from their early work, showing off an ever evolving and creative side to Bui’s whirlwind of talent. If there’s anything to take away from Bui's personality, it’s that they're going to work hard, no matter what side of the world that their on – it’s just up to the world to try and catch up.

She’s a DJ that can seamlessly transition from trap to classic hip-hop, as much The Hotboyz as she is The Lox.  During her mix, you can find any one of the prominent regions in hip-hop represented.  She takes pride in being able to blend the familiar with the new, an example of her expansive tastes in the genre.  Alexandria “DJ Ally Bea” Bellvie is ready for your ears. 

Growing up in New Orleans’ 7th Ward, Ally came across her uncle’s DJ equipment as a kid.  After watching him spin a few parties, she wanted in.  The love for the craft has been with her ever since.  It wasn’t until a pivotal moment in her hip-hop life, the release of DMX’s classic It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, did she truly fall in love with rap.  She traces the confidence she needed to take the leap into being a DJ to how that album made her feel; Strong.  Confident.  Focused.

DJ Ally Bea has been making moves over the radio waves for almost a decade now, first starting as the host of her own show (The Bea Hive on 96.9 WHYR) before gradually deciding to hop on the decks herself and become the DJ she wanted to hear.  Ever since, she’s sharpened her skills and showcased her growth with The 30|31 Project.  With a sincere want to highlight and celebrate women deejays everywhere, she started the Pretty Chicks and Turntables with DJ Rezy.  She continues to remain committed to getting better each time she touches the turntables.  

With a deep love of hip-hop, her New Orleans upbringing, and the art of deejaying, she looks to take the next step in elevating herself, elevating the culture, and controlling the crowd.
