The Singing Men of Ohio celebrated the 30th Anniversary of their founding in 1989 in their Annual Alumni Weekend Concert. Guest Artist, Dr. Katrina Zook, the daughter of SMO's founder, Dr. Ira T. Zook,  conducted and performed a solo with the choir.
"The Parting Glass" by Joseph Martin and commissioned in honor of The Singing Men of Ohio accompanist Harolyn Brient and her husband Charles Brient was debuted.
