An understated steamroller of a tune with concrete kicks and a treacle-like bassline, Malux picks up where his recent remix of Noisia left us and takes us on a cruise of the industrial badlands of his unique deep tech palette. Understated but galvanised with dark energy, he sets the scene for UK MC soldier Hijak to lay down his marching orders.

Following releases with the likes of Nymfo, Nami and Data 3, Hijak delves deep into the darker side of the human psyche, as he runs from carriage to carriage, spraying his bars artfully like graffiti on an NYC subway. Bad Taste Recordings hits 2016 in severe kinetic style with a fresh pair of tracks launching the identity of MALUX, the new Neurofunk-focussed moniker of established bass producer SKOPE (Inspected, Technique Recordings). 
With “Turbine” and “Fonk” the agenda is clear-energetic, funk-fuelled DnB driven by detailed low-frequency design and a boisterous rave vibe.
TURBINE carries with it a stripped aesthetic, with a percussive pattern driven by the snare and wonky plucked synth work. This is heads-down, bassface material for ravers to get into step to.
