We Dance Around The Fire

Bulletproof Slug is a EBM/Synthpop band from New Jersey and was started in fall 2007 by Nick Heacock and Mike Verba.
Nick programs and composes all the music with a computer and a synthesizer, while the lyrics and vocals are shared between him and Verba for a dynamic balance that ensures every song comes out sounding original and catchy.
Other than a few exceptions, Nick usually writes and sings the verse vocals and Verba takes the lyrical concept and applies it to the choruses.
We believe that musicians should embrace all avenues of music, not just one, and should try to be influenced by all types of genres. Music should be fun with an occasional sense of humor, and never, ever, boring.
While this account is mainly focused on "Bulletproof Slug," Nick will also post his personal demos, improv piano recordings, and tracks for his solo project "Tactless Renegade."
