We are proud to introduce a winter compilation of Bullfinch. This is our first, but not last, collection in a series of season compilations. In this compilation, we tried to collect only the music that reflects the winter mood. We took great care to create a long mix so that you can fully emerge into the winter atmosphere and feel its changeable nature. 

Let’s start our story step by step: Winter.

The compilation begins with “Reconditioned”, a mix by Taylor Xavior (USA). His track makes us feel the smooth weather transition. Here we can hear beautiful leads that smoothly and harmonically set the mood for a winter atmosphere.
Slidedream (Argentina) introduces “Panoramic”. This original mix presents the delicacy of the moment when the first snow starts falling down. Delicate flowing leads and a guitar bridge evoke images of snow slowly drifting in the air.
sYnus (Hungary) offers us “Northern Breeze”. As the title implies, this track brings the soft conversion of weather from a slight snow to severe frosts. We can hear a sharp winter pad leading the frost. Interesting vocal inserts allow the frost to settle, amplifying the freshness of the track.
With every strong frost comes a winter sun; it gives us happiness and sets a positive mood. This transition can be heard immediately when fast rhythmical guitar sounds evoke sun-like rays that begin to reflect on the snow and blind you. This indescribable beauty was presented by Kapshul (Belarus) in the track “Winter Sunlight”. People are happy and the positive mood is spread to others.
 Meoss (Ukraine) presents “Everything Will Be Fine”- this track also wants to show the light in a cold winter day. The name of the track speaks for itself- when you look at beautiful things and are happy because of the sunny winter day, you want to cheer up and remember that everything will be fine. 
Frezel (the Netherlands) had time to give his own manner. The mood of the track “Almost There” reminds us that weather is changeable and that it can drastically change for the worse. We hear a long and intense narration which tells about future changes which will be unforgettable. 
Anxieties came true and the weather makes a sharp change. The track “The Dark Side” by Aristo Mi Katto (Greece) sets the mood for this transformation. When you listen to it you feel the cold winter setting in your body- you feel the cold wind blowing and want this winter to end as quickly as possible. 
Frezel gifts us weather changes again. In his track “Fabula” we can hear a positive mood which foreshadows the end of severe frosts. “Leads” and “plucks” seem to call spring- and it’s true, be patient, spring will come soon.
Is it really spring? Sure! Ray K. (Germany) “Re Decide” tells about the warm blowing wind, it is so close you can feel it. It’s a great mood. This exciting mood is reflected in pulsing base and guitar riffs of this composition which will take place in your hearts.

Winter has come and gone but we’ll not break up because spring is coming. But that is for another story.

Hard to believe how time flies – it's been exactly 6 years, 4 months, and 19 days since we released our very first compilation. Back then, everything was new and we had no idea where the journey would take us. Over the years, downtempo has evolved significantly and continuously reinvented itself.

Today, we're releasing our tenth and - for now - final compilation. From the beginning, it was important to us to provide a platform for new and emerging artists – and up until this tenth compilation, we’re proud to say that no artist appeared more than once. For this special occasion, we're breaking with that tradition and have invited several long-time companions to join us in shaping this moment.

A big thank you to all the artists for their contributions, and to all our listeners for your continued support. Special thanks also go to Kilian Van de Water, whose unique style has always played a key role in creating the overall identity of our label.
