"Not the Same" showcases the unique musical background and story of each artist as well as their musical innovation. After graduating in 2018, the Clubhouse lead singer Max was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, spent the year in treatment and relearned to walk. 

He became cancer-free multiple times but relapsed repeatedly. Despite six years of battling cancer, Max continues to make music with his bandmates. Nitefreak, Imad, and Clubhouse consider "Not The Same" to be one of their best works yet. And it appears to have earned the approval of some of the biggest names in the Afro scene.

This track is our first collaboration as Florist and Deco, bringing together our shared love for Afro House. We wanted to create something full of rhythm and energy—something that makes you move from the first beat. Inspired by the organic sounds of the genre, we focused on live instruments instead of purely digital production. The combination of guitars, original real percussion, and groovy basslines gives it a raw and natural feel.
Lyrically, the track is all about that irresistible energy when someone completely draws you in. Nes Mburu’s vocals add the perfect vibe, bringing warmth and authenticity that fit seamlessly with the track. Working with him and a talented team of musicians made the whole process feel effortless.
At its core, this track is all about movement, connection, and getting lost in the music. It’s Afro House the way we love it—pure groove, pure energy, and made for the dancefloor.
