I SPIT SILT comes from 2 people at the edge of their life pit.

When all fantasies and possibilities collapse into one, when the daedalus of growth is settled we still love to build ugly sand castles ready to fall apart.
Unaware of time, we keep planning and embroiding wild and pointless stories about inner worlds while the first grains of life start coming out of our mouths.

Like a flesh clepsydra we spit silt.

Semi-improvised piano recordings became the marrow of a sludgy, emotional electronic piece: the structure and sensibility of a brilliant contemporary classical composer meet instinct, frenzy and ear shattering walls of sound from the electronic realm.

this 4th radio show on @ma3azef Radio has a special guest @dakn-1 🇵🇸 

For several months I've been working on this radio show getting in touch with many Palestinian artists. 

It seemed important to me to do a show not only inviting Dakn as a guest, one of my favourite musicians of the electronic music scene there, but also to give an opportunity to spread what is happening there not only at a political level but also at a cultural one. Also as a way to support local artists from there. 

The artwork in this case was a collaboration with HYPEPEACE 
a  streetwear label that seeks to highlight the political and social reality there by implanting itself as a parasite in the underground fashion industry. Using fashion to talk about politics, the designs are inspired by iconic images which are then translated to highlight and support specific causes of importance to the global community, playfully adopting the aesthetic to ironic effect.

With a background in playing jazz and formative years of playing saxophone in a live band, Prague-based Ursula Sereghy stepped out of the hustle to focus, all while becoming a regular at the local Synth Library. A space where she found the support of the musically and politically like-minded and could nourish her newfound passion for experimenting with machines and exploring the limitless possibilities of sound design. An extensive period of voluntary detachment from everyday life during the pandemic gave rise to the stunningly confident debut album 'OK Box' fabricated by this dark horse of a producer.

Opening 'OK Box' reveals a truly multifarious microcosm. On her very first musical output, besides manipulated field recordings and widely used granular synthesis, Ursula draws wisely from her past musical practice as acoustic or synthesized samples of jazz instruments become the furtive common denominator of the record's sonic narrative. Circulation of the breath among the instruments chambers substitutes the streams of city dwellers flowing through the cramped city environment. With Ursula's entangled compositions, she creates the representation of revealing and embracing the intuitive connections of the experiences and thoughts with their mental and physical surroundings, at times leading the listener to melancholic placements, followed by moments of mischievous clarity and rational sentiment. But essentially, the longplay is a friendly ride following unusual mental maps and broadening the borders of the very cartographical ones, all with inconspicuous sideroad peeks of cheeky little creatures, still surveillance by destiny-bending spirits, and oversaturation of out-there emotional associations. Hang in there, you little civilians and slimy slugs alike. To cut a long story short - 'OK Box' houses a lively collection of warm-hearted and witty jams honoring the nature of reasonable escapism.

Irish native ‘Outl1er’ returns following his debut release on SafeHaus Selects (SS001), presenting his most accomplished body of work to date. Drawing on elements of Jungle, IDM & Bass Music, Outl1er blurs lines in his three track EP "Lethe" and offers his interpretation of the juxtaposed relationship between hard and soft sound palettes.

Dancing around the 170BPM spectrum “Playtime” and “1361 Oblivion” take no rush in their climax and delivery, offering a warped version of nostalgia met with quick cuts of playful percussion.

"Undertow", serves as the final premier of the release, offering a 160BPM dive into twisted percussion and melancholic tones.

Rua 29 is both a physical and a virtual place. The Milan-based electronic producer Maxwell Simons brings together a bunch of diverse worldwide collaborations into a work of boundless energy. Shuttling between hard techno, footwork, and bass, the artist orchestrated every bit: “ Big Space and I worked side by side on 4 tracks, starting from his ideas to which I added my own approach to chopping and editing samples over a pad of arrhythmic drums”. From Johannesburg to LA, all the way to Philadelphia and back to Milan through a virtual connection that creates a collective scenario where different characters find their home base.

The first track, In Yo Feelings, kicks off with the audacious rap by Shamon Cassette on top of chop and stitch materials and a rolling bassline. To keep up the frantic rhythm, NHJF, and The Beast They Made (Redux) feat. Buddy Leezle add even more obsessive drum interplays, creating a weary zig-zag among hard techno and jungle. The tiny dexterous moves of Sax Appeal feat. Richi Rich reminds the most sped-up cricket sounds of DJ Rashad, which follow through into a perpetual motion with Mr Kind and High Love where the bass gets physical. Getting down even harder in Showing Rage with powerful gutter beats and the dissident rhymes of Shamon Cassette. NHJF Remix closes this world-wide virtual journey clustering unbridled bass intensity delivered by the UK based producer Deft.
