everything here was essentially done in one take with no rehearsal and no prior knowledge of what was going to be played. first  a bass line is jammed then  guitar lines are added sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Yes there are some howlers but when it works its good,

I enjoy the craft of songwriting, and love to see a song, or music grow to completion, I write kind of organically and feel my way through the lyrics, the music comes easier. I hope that you like what you hear!

Deadman is an indie-rock power trio based in Madrid, Spain. Although based in Spain, Deadman is an expat band, comprising 2 Englishmen and a powerful Peruvian drummer. Our influences are many and diverse - ranging from the darkness of Bauhaus to the ingenuity of Ash and the dirty punk of the Pixies. Our songs are based around a contagious rhythm section, hypnotic guitars and deeply personal lyrics. They are somber yet powerful and full of barely contained rage, creating an intense pathway to a melancholic abyss. Deadman is a journey to unknown shores - that at the same time seem very familiar.
