BunkerBauer On Wax 12 - DJ IBON

This is the 13th edition of our podcast series, and this time we have a dear friend of BunkerBauer behind the decks. Miss Sara Foreal Svanholm aka Mama Snake.

Sara is part of the Copenhagen based dj crew, Aperion Crew, which consist of 4 danish girls. As Sara says: "it's easy to sell yourself when you're 4 girls in a male dominated scene, but I think that we being booked for our skills rather than our sex :) "

Sara has played at numerous clubs in Copenhagen as Culture Box and Harveys, international clubs as Golem (Hamborg) and Farbfernseher (Berlin), festivals like Phono Festival and Strøm Festival and alongside dj's as Martyn, Prosumer, Benjamin Damage, Versalife, Xosar and Carl Craig. And of course she has played serveral times in our dear Bunker, which should be a enough stamp of approval.

Born out of the closure of Copenhagen based nightclub Dunkel, Apeiron started as a means of throwing parties to help enrich the community of promoters that had started to shape the city and their local scene. Throwing parties quickly evolved into being booked to play them, with their eclectic back-to-back sets taking them outside of Copenhagen on an international scale. With a member short and three years having gone by since Apeiron was founded, we caught up with Sara, Emma and Simone to chat about changes in direction, goals, the constraints of more exposure as a crew and their early rave beginnings. Recorded in mix tradition at a friend's bunker in Copenhagen, this hour and a half Truancy Volume has plenty to commit to, with music from Jensen Interceptor, Aphex Twin, Pearson Sound, Sunday Brunch and some Solid Blake material all dotted throughout. The last song also, without wanting to give anything away, is one of the best outro tracks we've had in a while.

Truancy Volume 169: Apeiron Crew

The 5th FFAS Mix ix made by the head of Moral Defeat SCHACKE 
His debut EP came out last year on the local label Ectotherm, who host a lot of the citys talent, and the eager producer already has another one coming.
This mix is quirky, percussive, with a touch of indstruial, and proves Schackes diversity as a DJ pretty damn well.
