Formed in 2008, Kid Mud was Sean Duncan, an indie rock vet formerly of Fiver, but with time, Kid Mud has seemingly morphed beyond "one man band" status into something larger than the sum of its parts. He has recruited friends Steve Brooks, Mike Reavill, Nick Ruiz, and Mike Watkins for new input to allow Kid Mud's creative sound to mature. With five diverse musicians from varying tastes and backgrounds, they come together to compile a sound of their own. Unlike earlier Kid Mud (recorded and live) the sound has taken on a new beast of delivering a full, rich sound while maintaining compelling dynamics. Kid Mud's sound brings both the soft and loud like some more well known bands, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead and Built to Spill.

In order to relate to your music most listeners need to be able to #pigeonhole it, if they can’t do this because you create tunes that are unique they'll likely dismiss your creativity, absorbing it years later when musicians, thinking they got there first, stumble on your sound!

Influenced by Gothic Music, lots of Funk, lots of Fusion, Post Industrial, Psychedelia, a smidgen of Post Punk, elements of Death and Dark Disco, traces o Trip Hop, Trap, EDM, Trance, Techno, House, Glam Rock, Nu Disco; Dub; I think you get the picture!
